I worked in the OR as a surgical nurse. I’m used to spending twelve hours or more every day with psychopaths, narcissistic and bipolar surgeons. They all congregate in the surgical rooms…it’s sick! I won’t go into details but believe me…they really so abusive that only certain kind of people can endure working in the OR.

Like I wrote in the original comment, dealing with blood and death on a regular basis must take a certain natural level of callousness. I wonder how pathologists score 🤔 they must be off the charts. And yes, it is scary and we must be very careful trusting our health providers. In my life I met 1 (!) good sensitive doctor who was patient and listened attentively. Most have a "I am a doctor and you will listen to what I tell you to do" stance and give you half-educated advice. Not to mention that many doctors go into the field for money and prestige, which is also a fact

But her story re-enforced his deceit which made the world look. When you get engaged to a man and the wedding is being planned, he tells you that he has bought a house for you to live in, in this case Barcelona, its just common sense to quit your job since you know you are re-locating. I did the same. I met my husband in my country when he was an expatriate there. We got married and when his contract ended, I quit my job and we moved to his country. I knew nobody there, and I couldn`t speak the language. I learned all this in time. Its called taking a leap of faith. People from different backgrounds meet everyday all across the world and they get married. She trusted the wrong person. What he did was cruel considering he knew she had a daughter. He now can feel how she felt as he lost his job. Its even worse for him coz no one will ever hire him ever again as everyone knows what he did. Let her cash in whatever she can. Everybody cashes in on whatever they can nowadays. I know she opened the eyes of alot of women to be vigilant.
