My Exciting First Visit to Kings Island in Ohio | Record Breaking Coasters | Part One Vlog!!

(Part One) In today's video it's my very first visit to one of my bucket list theme parks in the world Kings Island in Mason, Ohio. I can't even explain how excited I was to finally be at this iconic theme park with high level coasters all over the park. I bring you with me as this is my first time exploring this park but the very first thing that I do is of course head right over to Orion which is the newest roller coaster at Kings Island for a few rides with my big review. After that I ride flight of fear, the beast, mystic timbers, diamondback and the racer which is celebrating their 50th anniversary along with the park itself. I give you my full reviews of every single coaster that I was able to ride in my part one vlog. This summer, I've gone to Mt. Olympus, Six Flags Great America, Kings Island, Cedar Point, and Hersheypark. Kings Island was the one that surprised me the most in a positive way. I regret not being there for the 50th anniversary last year but man the park is so gorgeous aesthetically. The ride ops were outstanding. I never waited longer than 20-25 minutes for any roller coaster. I definitely want to go back next summer, too bad it is 7 hours away! haha

We used to live right by KI and watch the fireworks from our deck at night. So fun! Also, fun fact: The Racer used to have one side that went backwards. You haven't lived until you've ridden backwards on a wooden roller coaster!

Technically it’s a roller coaster of 300ft in height, although Orion is only 287ft its drop is 300ft because of the terrain, so it still makes it a giga coaster.

If you liked this park you should come to Canada and experience Canadas Wonderland. Has great coasters as well. It is owned by the same people. I think you would be very surprised! Its just a hop skip and a jump from where you are, in Vaughn Ontario near Toronto.

We've been pass holders for many years. I knew you would love it and glad you had a great time. Try to get back up here again and enjoy the waterpark and a few of the other rides. Kings Island is a well balanced park that offers something for everyone. I agree two days is better, sometimes too many rides on our coasters in one day can be hard on the body. It's good to break them up with the many relaxing fun rides. Two days is better to keep it from being overwhelming. I know you were here for the coasters and very happy you got to see my park after watching you at the Florida parks for years and getting a ton of useful info. Thank you for such an awesome review. I remember being so scared of the Beast as a kid. I used to ride the Beastie. I even rode the Vortex before getting the courage up to ride the Beast. Lol Needless to say I was very unimpressed will the fear everyone else in my family had. I don't enjoy wooden rollercoasters at all in my old age. I have to take Tylenol before I even get in line.

Awe Man - You CANNOT CALL favorite after first ride. I can’t wait to see where you land by the end of this video. Also - I’m anxiously awaiting how you like The Beast, it is MY FAVORITE, must be done at night, but you also need to seat wisely for a less rough ride. My home park! I grew up going Kings Island! I grew up in Columbus. Too bad Vortex is no longer there, that was my first ever upside down ride. Please tell me you rode The Beast!!! You can’t go to Kings Island without a ride on that! Banshee is where Son of Beast was located…you didn’t miss out on that. The Racer was also featured on The Brady Brunch. I will always love FOF. The ride ops can always tell when someones nervous so theyll do a fun countdown my first time they said "Hang on just a moment folks we seem to be having a malfunction with the restraints" and then they sent us off it was terrifying and fun.

HOORAY SO EXCITED - this is my hometown. I spent SO SO MANY HOURS in this park. I had a pass every year from the age I needed a pass until I graduated college. Now living as an adult one hour from Cedar Point. We do the Cedar Fair Platinum Pass every other year and always hit Cedar Point, Kings Island, Kings Dominion. We’ve also made once each (so far) the trek to Carowinds and Canada’s Wonderland. I think Canada’s Wonderland might be my favorite so far, though King’s Island probably wins still, I just can’t figure out what is nostalgia and what is King’s Island just being AMAZING. OK - time to watch!!!

I first rode the Racer 40 years ago. At the time on one track the cars went backwards. I liked the backwards side best. The park used to be owned by Paramount and you would see Star Trek characters walking around. I loved the Scooby Doo ride. My daughter’s first roller coaster was the Beastie.

Two fun facts. They painted the race back to the original colors from opening year. Also the racer and kings was shown on a Brady bunch episode. Can’t wait to see what you say about cedar point. Once you start driving over the bridge to the park it’s a view that will blow your mind.
