I just applied to scribe america, i’m a freshman pre medical student. I currently work at starbucks but I really want to start entering the health field and hopefully it will workout. Even though I heard there isn’t any clinical experience but I’m excited about everything I will be able to see if i get the job. I took the test and got a 98%. yay!

Omg yay!! You’ll be surprised at how much you will learn! I learned more in the ER scribing than I learned as a medical assistant. Talk to doctors, PA’s, and NP’s that you’ll be working with trust me they’ll love elaborating on why they chose a specific diagnosis

Unfortunately there’s a uniform. It’s a scribe América navy polo and khaki’s. They don’t want patients confusing us with the clinical personnel

Hello Nurse Iveth, I have worked as a medical scribe for the last 3+years. However, I am worked for a company in USA which had a branch in Bangladesh ( where I reside). I have worked with 6 specialties (Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Gastroenterology, Pain Management, Orthopedics, and Pediatrics). I have recommendation from my doctor as well. My query for you and also a request is if you could guide me to any scribe positions that can be done Remotely (from Bangladesh, Dhaka). If you could help, it would be really a big big help!. Thanks and always a big fan of yours.

Congratulations! My ER did not want us wearing scrubs because they did not want patients to think we were nurses or doctors. We wore an embroidered collared shirt with khakis.
