Assimilation Test(after joining) is only for CS/IT people !! Others are given core training ranging from 1-4 months after which 90 percent peeps are allocated support projects and you generally you cant choose !

Cognizant is undoubtedly is a very good company for freshers. The company helps you develop your skills by setting your yearly goals, whatever you want to learn. Just and advice for all the freshers out there that before getting into your first project make sure that the skillset that project requires matches the skillset in which you got trained. I joined CTS in 2016, being a non-IT graduate, I was not aware of this and it became tough for me to cope up with the project. It's not necessary that it will happen to everyone but just saying to keep a note of it. The main point is, that if you have made up your mind to be in IT for the next 10-15 years then keep knowledge of what tech excites you and will help you grow more in this field. I wish you guys all the very best for your future. Cheers :)

Hello Sir. Department change milta hai kya Cognizant me ? Muze 3yrs ka exp hai. PA level. Because maine Sept-21 me join kiya. Initially muze Tibco-Ebx pe rakha tha but mai Java Background ka hu to maine wo mera concern raise kiya And Project Assign hua hai Jan-22(After 4.5 month). But wo Java-Spark Tech. pe hai. But muze Java-SpringBoot me interest hai. & hamare department me Java-SpringBoot pe shayad project nahi hai. So aap muze kya suggest kar sakte ho ? 1. Should i continue with this project for few months? Because this is my 1st Project in CTS. Meanwhile I can complete the courses too and brush up my technical skills. So after or nearby 1yr Exp of CTS ke baad me department switch kar sakta hu. After or nearby 1 year of exp pe department change milta hai kya ? and milta hai to uska procedure kya hai ? 2. Ya abhi department change ke liye jau ?
