My Experience Being A Gay English Teacher In Korea

In this vide I wanted to talk about the reality of being a Gay English Teacher here in South Korea. For those of you that do not know, I am a teacher at two elementary schools with the EPIK programme based in rural Daegu. Hopefully this video helps somebody in some small way, or simply just gives and insight in to what life is like over here for a gay person.

Its so interesting to look abroad and see how other countries are doing with lgbtq rights. I love painting my nails too. As a man, I get comments on that a bit too often for my taste. Interestingly enough, more compliments from elders and young people. I’m 20. Still quite young I guess, but from most people in between, either not much at all, or just questioning me in my choice to do it. Same with makeup. Unfortunately the reason, I couldn’t put any on yet :(. Here in Germany, it’s not as bad, we have come a whole long way to where we are. But it’s one thing to have it on paper, than in real life with family.. Anyway, I love this video and am about to subscribe. 🏳‍🌈(there’s still no Poly-flag emoji, you have to imagine it) Have a great day ^^
