Well, #1 I ALWAYS have a backup on Google Drive or Dropbox of all my content. Second, I have been careful in hiring, I think I pay a fair wage and treat my contractors well, so I am not concerned with retaliation. I DO have separate login credentials for contractors and don't share my YT login (especially since it's the same as my Google login). You can set up admin roles for your contractors and limit what they can and cannot do on your channel support.google.com/youtube/answer/4525580?hl=en

I am not sure I follow what you're asking. Are you asking about hiring someone to help you monetize your channel? I couldn't possibly speculate because there are a lot of factors involved, most especially your market and the quality of your content.

how do you know how to trust?? do you do a w9? do you ask to see their id?

I always look carefully at the idenity score in the Onlinejobs directory and I sort to only see those with ID scores that are at the top end. I am also very careful to screen like I mentioned in the video. Having said that, I have had to go through many people before finding my stars. If you are in the United States, you don't have them fill out a W9. For foreign contractors you have them fill out an IRS form called W-BEN8. This required them to certify that they are contrators and they are paying taxes within their own juristiction.

Do I turn in this W-BEN8 or do they? How do we know they aren't lying about name, address or other info on this document? Is there an ID card they carry there? or they dont usually falsify those?

@@jaebae7071 thank you for subscribing! You can always request a copy of their ID for your records. I think I mentioned that when looking for a contractor in onlinejobs.ph, I do filter for only those who have a high ID score. Often they have their ID in their profile and onlinejobs.ph will mark them as "Verified"

My experince with hiring dozens of filipino workers is that no matter how much you pay them or try to hire the right one they will always deliver less than what you had hoped for. You will spend so many hours giving them training and trying to coach them, but it will be a waste of time. Take for example a SUPER simple copy and paste data entry job, Sure the labor is cheaper, but the work is poor quality, they will invent ways to make errors, and you will spend hours upon hours checking their work and fixing their mistakes for work you paid them to do.
