I’m Cambodian and I’m proud of it, once upon a time when i return home i saw the foreigner ride a motorcycle and he out of gas then i purchased the gas for him for 4100 riel while i got only 5000 riel left in my pocket, then i give it to him for free and i proud of what i’m doing , sorry for bad grammar 😊😊😊

I have lived in Siem Reap for over a year. My experience with Cambodians has convinced me that most of them are made of marzipan. In the relatively short time I've been here I have made more satisfying connections than in my last ten years in Canada. Since day one I have been welcomed , respected , helped , invited and included in almost every dimension that one could imagine. The wild way that they drive is certainly a caution but really they are just doing whatever they feel like doing and that happens to fit with my innate cowboy ethos. So if you don't like my driving get the hell off the sidewalk.

Omg. I’ve been saying all along about Thai food is so, so Sweet. She said the exact same thing. I never finished the plates of Thai food. There are a lot of Thai restaurants closed down here in the USA. And Thai call their country “land of smile” is misleading.

She’s right about Cambodia, we love to chit chat and socialize with other people where as in the western or Europe we are busy with our own lives and focus on the individual rather than share things and out socialize more with people in general. I particularly love Cambodia is because Cambodia has much less population than her neighbor countries ,that’s a good thing, and it gives you more spaces to roam around. Every turn is spaces, not congested with people. Foods are perfect taste, not too sweet and not too salty. I mean sure, Thailand is known for foods, yes I agreed but for some Thai food is too sweet and too much coconut milk. But then again, it’s all about people preference and taste buds.

I spent the month of July in Cambodia with friends. My first trip. Siem Reap, Battambang, Phnom Penh, went to the Bat Caves, Bamboo Train, many Restaurants, Temples, etc etc. we rented a Van with a Driver and went everywhere including the Gulf of Thailand in Sihanoukville. We all had a wonderful time. Food was great. Visiting the local Markets were great. We spent majority of the time in Battambang. One thing I do disagree is Cambodia is not all flat Southern Cambodia was beautiful scenery with the mountains in the background. My best memory. The wonderful friendly people. Poor and hardworking. Weather was hot and humid. The only downside. Would I go back? Yes. I did visit the High School known as S21. Broke my heart. Almost cried. Emotionally Shocked.

This natural spectacle takes place during on March 20-22 and September 21-23 each year, attracting throngs of spectators eager to witness the sun's rays in perfect vertical alignment with the temple, a marvel of both cosmic phenomena and architectural intent.

0:24 to the Khmer in Cambodia, if you are not agile in marketing and regain the awareness of protecting your food then you will lose this food again to your neighbours: beef lok lak, Phnom Penh noodle soups kuey teav > now some kinh ethnic vietnamese they claim these two food and call it bo` luc' lac, hu tieu Nam vang and selling it to their restaurant oversea, so do think about it :))
