Hello, I have a question. after transferring stocks from TradeRepublic to scalable, when you sell the stock, will you pay the taxes from the amount you bought (in TradeRepublic) or the amount you transferred (in Scalable)?

I wonder if it is only me with this problem on SC? I have amount on my account but when I go to PAYMENTS -> PAYOUT I always see 0 EUR available. At first I thought that they need some days to process my bank transfer but the money has been cleared and successfully landed on SC around 2 weeks ago. I already traded and got some gains but my available payout option is always 0. A bit confusing. Help anyone please? SC support is rubbish.

I want to know if swing trading or day trading is profitable in Germany due to taxes? How are buying and selling stocks taxed? If they are tax right when we sell then what about losses how do they get calculated on the total gain? Will we get tax money back in that case?

Swing trading is profitable if you know the right signal buy the taxes I think it's high, I do seel high to cover up my losses via taxes that it.

I'll definitely do that! I believe Trade Republic's UI is much better at least right now. On TR you have information on ex dividend dates, dividend yields, in ETFs you have information about fund sizes. Scalable Capital's UI is very simple compared to that, but again, they aren't even one complete year on the market right now, so I am curious to know where they go. For me this was more of a necessity to reduce my trading costs and still be able to keep my portfolio while moving away from Germany.

Hey, I moved from ING to Scalable Capital my whole depot. It all worked pretty well, it's just that the buy in for my positions was incorrect as it seems that they took the current price on the day they transferred in the positions. Have you observed the same?

Hey Iliya, You’re right. I also think the same happened with me. I’m going to write to them and ask if that happened. Because I remember being in profit on all of my portfolio when I shifted. Of course, for taxes it is nice but not correct 😂

Wow, that's a risky one! I am planning to move from ING to TR. But some of my positions are currently at >100% (Airbus, AMD, Nvidia, etc.). If there's a risk of losing that growth, I might just leave them on ING :s Recommendation? thanks!

Hi, I am also a customer of Scalable....the customer service in Scalable is a joke, never answer any question...since like 2 months I am on a "waiting" list to move my ETFs and still nothing, no emails no answers... how long did you have to wait? thanks a lot :)

Hi! You’re right! I’ve seen better days of the customer support. I had to wait for around 2 weeks to get things going but then another 4 weeks on trade republic’s side. I talked to the customer support and they said they are handling a lot of cases right now because of the increased demand and the company is hiring more people. I really hope this gets better soon too! 😐

@@Brandevise Too much tax. Especially in the year i took 2 months parental leave. I was working in day time and freelancing inthe night and weekends. I nearly paid half of what i got from the freelancing as tax at the end of year. And i realized the amount 2 years later so basically until the close i worked six months only to cover my old and incoming taxes :( Finally i closed the company and never ever i plan to open a company in here any more. Moving Romania is an awesome move for you :thumbsup:

What happens with the avg. prices in which you bought the stocks? This must be recorded somewhere during the transfer right?

Unfortunately I do not see anything! It is possible that it is happening right now because my Depot has not yet "completely" transferred: I still have MAIN and MSCI World lying at Trade Republic which should get transferred next week too. I did a "Gesamtdepotübertrag" which means the profit and losses should also be carried over to the new Depot. I'm also curious to see if I am able to see these in the new Depot. For the stocks that I had already bought on Scalable Capital, average costs is available. Also e.g. for Tesla: Only the parts that I bought on Scalable Capital (13 shares) are showing the average value, but the rest of the 58 shares which were added to it do not yet have an average purchase value.

@@nristocktrader7360 For brokerages, it's all about getting that one extra viewer. As soon as you put the names in the titles, the Adwords preferences target those videos and you see ads from Trade Republic and Scalable Capital (and eToro just has their eyes and ears everywhere. It's insane!)
