Just a quick update KB, I passed my Cisco CCNA today and was caught by surprise on how difficult it was - I genuinely thought I was going to fail. You’re totally right about putting the hours and months into achieving this goal as I had to sacrifice 4 hours after work Monday to Friday to study. It took me a solid 1 year and a half to really digest all the information so any video that says you can pass the exam in 6 weeks without networking knowledge is terrible advice. Discipline and passion are the 2 driving factors that will help you to succeed.

Taking my CCNA exam this week, thank you for the tips! I’m going to run through the objectives and ensure I not only know the “right” answer but understand why it’s right and why the others are wrong. Also gonna brush up on my CLI commands. Thanks again!

Hey guy, I'm taking the exam next month to get recertified. The last time I took the exam was in 2008 and since I currently don't work in the industry I had to literally go back to chapter 1. I've been studying CCNA for the past 2 years so those 6-week exam-cram videos on YT make me cringe. I agree with you to pass the new exam is def hard work and requires a lot of dedication and passion. Anyway, I stumbled on your channel recently and I really enjoy your content keep it up bro!

Thanks for sharing, i'm getting ready to sit the exam too, someone told me that there is a lot of questions about IPv6, wireless and security, is that true ?
@KBTrainings3 жыл бұрын
Hey Sitouane, Thanks for watching. Yes, that is true. Even though every exam is different, now that I think about it, there was a good bunch of questions on IPv6, Wireless (wireless security) and Security... But you won't have any problem of you are well prepared, the questions were not that hard.

Thanks for the video. Very detailed and well thought out. I however do not believe you need a year or two to pass! It's not a degree or diploma course....dedicated study ...how fast you can grasps concepts ..which varies widely .. and you will be good in 6 to 8 weeks.

Hello John. Glad to read you. Good for you, networking is good. You'd need to start learning a lot and eventually getting certified, starting with the CCNA.

@@KBTrainings what if I start with compTIA A+, Network+, CCNA is a good master plan
@StylistecS2 жыл бұрын
@@johnmbayahi4895 you do not really need CompTIA A+ but it doesn’t hurt to at least study it but not take the test. To a smaller extent, the same is true with network + as it is vendor neutral. Study it as network + and the CCNA do overlap on some things.
