In BN1, you can dodge the hammer waves by timing your forward step to the animation. Same thing can be done with LifeVirus meteor.

...I do like how MMBN1 has a similar death animation to the classic games but... Everything else about the game is kinda janky. It's understandable since it was the first game but still... Also I did learn that if your eye is quick enough, you can see where a mine was placed. Also yeah, 1000IQ whiff, you just wanted him to suffer, knowing that he wouldn't be able to do anything about the Anubis before he died~

Does Gaia not work like the virus attack? In virus battles the attack is only active on a panel for a frame or two and you can move forward to dodge as soon as you see the animation play on the panel in front of you.

Nope, is a non dim chip and it's funny because you can godge the attack

@@BenjaS4 I'm aware you can dodge it, it just seems like you and your opponent have a lot of difficulty in doing so. That's why I was asking if the active frame data was different from the virus (as in the Giai virus from pve, not something like the bn3 virus chips) as it's actually easy to dodge in game once you know that the attack animation itself is disconnected from the hurtbox quite considerably.
