I think it depends on private Operators . Bcz in my area normally I didn't observed any down time yeah during heavy rainfall or storm if by chance wire get broken then only a downtime of 15-20 minutes can be observed . In 15-20 minutes they will fix it immediately . Service is awesome speed is also awesome Just one complaint pack prices r very high

My father known somebody so it took only 2 days for me.. Friday we call them and Saturday they came to our home and install the router.. It's a office area lots of office are here may be that's why it went smoothly.. And speed is also good 100+ Mbps..

bhai mere yaha bhi mujhe 5000 dene pde. mere ghr se connection box 100 meter ki duri pr hi hai. unhone dual band router laga diya aur mera plan 1000 ka hai jo ki gst k sath 1179 ka bill aata hai. 150 mbps ki speed hai. aur constant achi speed hai. OTT subscriptions bhi mile hain. Hotstar premium, sony liv, voot, zee5. service achi hai bhaiya mere yaha. Jio ne wires toh dale lekin abhi tk connections nhi diye. lekin bsnl mst chl rha hain toh koi tension nhi.

isse badiya to Local Vendor hi hai, mere case me maine pehle Online Apply kiya 3-4 baar jiska kabhi koi reply nahi aaya, call b nahi aayi bas ek acknowledgement message aaya. Tab jaake Cable waale se baat ki, wo relative ka jaankaar tha to use bas call kiya. wo banda 2-3 baad khud ghr aaya form bhrwa ke leke gya or 3 din baad 2 jane Installation ke liye aa gaye. Wire beecha ke Modem khud Configure karke gaye. Modem ke liye 4000 Single Band or 5000 me Dual Band Router ka option tha to maine seedha Dual Band ka Router liya. Mujhe b same Sharp Vision ka Router mila AS351T model jo ki 5:38 waale router ka upgraded version hai. Conclusion :- 1.) Koi dusra option na ho tabhi BSNL ko chune 2.) BSNL me local vendor mile to wo badiya option hai qki wo Installation jaldi karenge 3.) Modem kuch b ho jaaye Dual Band hi le.

also, jab maine Local Vendor se router ke baare me pucha to usne btaya ki Router apni marzi ka le sakte hai bas use 1000 rupees Installation ke dene honge, considering if you also get the similar offer from your LCO take it, qki Acha Router (Dual Band) 3k Max me mil jaayega, ONU 1000 tak me or 1k LCO ko dene ke baad cost same padegi but Setup acha hoga bjaaye unke default Modem ke. Router ke firmware updates baad tak milenge jo ki unke default routers me aasani se nahi milte. Negotiate well with your LCO.

Meaning jo fibre cable aayegi usko splice karne ke baad ek patli si yellow wire lagti hai jo ki ONT waale port me hi lagegi or Online Milne waale Routers me wo port nahi milta. Ek ONT device alag se kharid lo jo ki 1000 tak me mil jaayega. Is Video ke 5:32 me jo device hai wo hi ONU hai.

Did you try Alliance Broadband in your area? It costs very less and the speed is high too. You have the freedom of choosing your own router models. BSNL routers aren't good quality.
