BSNL FFTH is basically operating in revenue sharing model with franchisee. Franchisee takes 50% and BSNL takes 50% . Operation and Infrastructure is maintained by BSNL. Sales and service will be provided by the franchise. So that's why the connection cost is varying according to locality. This is what I got to know from someone who works with the company.

Also, May ke Month me ₹18 Extra Charges aaye "FIXED_VALUE_CHARGES" ke naam se jiska kuch ata pata nahi. *Modem* - 4k me Single Band or 5k me Dual Band.

Mene apna modem khreeda dual band @4000 me Amazon se. Mere vendor n option di thi apna modem lelo ya unse lelo 3200@ ka single band. wire k mne 7000@ pay kiye kuki 1 km door se connection aana tha 300m free 700m x 10rs = 7000ra for wire. Mera connection bhi jata hai but 5 min. m aa jata hai wahi agr line m new connection lg ra ho to. Baki bill m koi problem nhi ayi 1 saal ho gya same fixed bill hai. Online bill kiya hai to 10rs discount milta hai har bill pr. Andhi tufan barish m nhi jata. Haan bich m 1-2 second ki glitch dekhne ko milti hau kbhi kbhi din m 1-2 bar wo bhi tab notice hoti hai jab m online meeting m hu.

@@RaghavKhandelwal trust me 60mbps is sufficient if you don't want to download/upload 100's of GB data everyday or if you are streaming take 100mbps so you don't lag when someone from family connect with wifi and starts downloading something. in 60mbps i was getting around 72mbps all the time. more than 100mbps is just a waste even websites bandwidth isn't that much.

I've applied for bsnl and today i.e on 31st aug they have connected the cable but no modem or router has yet been installed. This is a third party installation, what they call franchise. As I've one existing BSNL landline with copper wires and I was fade up with that connection which has fallen inactive for more than 15 days. I submitted complain, but they have suggested that to get rid of all problems I should switch to Fibre. In order to keep my age long bsnl number I opted for BSNL again. Though airtel and jio both are available. Had I watched your video earlier I would never have gone for BSNL. Thank you bro. I have subscribed your channel.

Your installation depends on your local vendor or provider I called in evening next day they installed everything with no issues I got the installation at 3000rs with router having dual bands both 2.4 and 5ghz For customer care always call the person who came for installation they can help really quickly

Are you talking of 2 numbers 2 phones or single number alloted to the fibre and 2 telephones ?

I remember that in our house there used to be two telephones one provided by bsnl and other brought from local market; we used to just cut the telephone wire and simply split it into two and both the telephones were connected to the incoming wire just like that ; didn't use any adaptor, but there was a junction box for that the size of a match box ; it was simply for joining all the 6 wires in it ( two +ve wires from each of the telephones connects to the incoming +ve wire and two -ve wires from each telephone to incoming telephone wire -ve). The junction box simple had a two copper bars with screws to hold the wires ; if you cannot you can just tape it

And when call comes in both rings and when call is picked in any one receiver the other will not ring ; but you can listen and talk simultaneously on the other ; there was no noticable noise from what i remember

I was looking for BSNL FTTH review, saw all the videos on KZbin. Now it has been 1 month and I shall share my experience for benefit of others. I live in a village in Shimla, HP. Installation charges were ₹ 1500 , inclusive of dual channel Optronix router, no extra charges. I called BSNL for connection, vendor took 2 days to make installation. So far no issue in connection , working fine, even during snowfall working fine. My plan is 499 30 mbps, getting 31 to 32 mbps. Overall happy with BSNL, will update if necessary.

It seems that things are going pretty well for you but in my case i have exactly opposite review it's been more than a month since i started using ftth of bsnl but you won't believe internet ain't working perfectly it's going off daily i have the same plan as you when i try to call my vendor and tells him the problem he doesn't takes it seriously i had to face so many problems in my 1st month I'm truly disappointed with the service i wish i had other options than bsnl ftth vendor charged me with 3500rs router charge and i was okay with it since my jio network connection isn't that good in my area so i was happy about it that i would use some high speed internet but it doesn't feel that way now if i knew i was going to face internet problems either way i never would've bought the ftth, if my internet isn't goona work then what would be the point of taking fiber today the whole day my service was down i was geeting los signal the whole day and when i contacted my vendor he said that some line has cut off because some tree fell on it and broke the connection overall I'm not happy with the service !

@@studentx5184 Yes service varies from region to region. I think best is to first enquire in your area if service is good or not and then decide on getting BSNL. I read that vendors are also overcharging in other states, but here they are not charging much. I called them after one week again to shift router to another part of house, they came after two days and did not charge money. So far it has been working fine, let's see how it works in future.

@@shubham5832 yes but i didn't see any compromise when it came to internet speed ftth connection is very fast and works properly sometimes but i think I'm in lose since it doesn't work that well for me but thank you for hearing me out cause i was a lil bit frustrated cause of sh! connection today 😅 I need good internet for my research and studies so it's frustrating but whatever it can't be helped sometimes !

@@studentx5184 Yes it is frustrating when internet goes off regularly, used to happen when I had broadband some years back. Air Fiber is a good option in places where optical fiber is not reliable and no other internet provided is available. Jio recharge has become too costly that is why I took fiber connection.
