Breakfast Club ain't never let Donnell get his talk off like this. This dude got some deep thoughts to share with people, and he funny at the same time. I'm glad I got to see him in this environment, great interview.

Donnell is a real one. I love that he said, I don't need acceptance from the industry. The problem is some ppl desperately need validation in life. So they will do the gateway shit to be seen, accepted, validated. This are the ones who have no soul to begin with. Donnell one of those dudes you would love to just hang out with at a bar and listen to him tell stories or clown somebody. He was clowning Math with the jeans....I was dying. 😂

Best point of the interview is when he makes the "Now that you've said this and gotten it off your chest, go get what it is you want and deserve." Basically saying put some actions behind the words. Like Dave did. Guess we'll have to see if Katt and Mo do it, but it's no doubt that they can.

Donnell, you got me taking notes like a student in class. It just occurred to me that a man in a dress doesn't bother me, but a gossiping man is the epitome of emasculation of black men. Can't blame that on Hollywood. I despised that interview because internet has turned black people into crab barrel snitches.

Cause he is. He knows Hollywood works off the buddy system and who you blow and not who you know but to keep his bread buttered he gotta act like that ain't the truth. Nobody in the industry can call Donell a friend except Dave and I bet a dollar that if Dave wasn't as successful as he was Donell wouldn't be his friend either... Sometimes when dudes say you gotta suck a D to get ahead. They mean it figuratively and literally and figuratively all Donell does is suck Dave's D to the point where he might as well get on his knees and do it literally and cut out all the games

I 100% disagree with 48-minute mark on ghostwriters. There are INCREDIBLE R&B songs and singers who I listen to daily who didn't write a damn thing, but the songwriters could have never sang it the way they sang it. Same goes for hip-hop. Although it's nice to know that the person rapping also wrote the rhyme, if you sell it, I'm buying it. Ne-Yo wrote "Irreplaceable," but that song would've NOT been as good with him versus Beyonce. I don't give a good goddamn who wrote "The Message." If I hear, "Don't. Push. Me. Cause. I'm. Close. To. The" all I picture is Grandmaster Flash & the Furious Five. I couldn't care less which of them wrote it or if it was Twain on the corner.
@BlackGirlInADoggoneWorld5 ай бұрын
I ❤ that Donell is not falling into the be-negative-to-pop energy and pointing out how Katt and Monique should focus on business, not Kevin Hart. Katt stays harping on Kevin. Reminds me of 50 and Ja Rule. One is NEVER NOT EVER thinking about the other. The other one wakes up and goes to sleep thinking about this man.
