+Anelis Peña True. They're always talking about how scary he is and how he never smiles. Maybe he just doesn't want to smile. You can't have too many softies. His expressions speak for him. And I feel bad for him because he gets blamed for everything and everyone betrays and uses him. But I think Stiles and Scott actually care about Derek (Sterek!). Like when Derek got attacked by the berserker at La Iglasia(?) and Stiles looked afraid to leave him, and when he and Scott always reassure each other. Peter, on the other hand, needed to stay dead in the first place. Thanks Lydia. I'm sad Derek isn't a regular anymore. He was one of the main reasons I watched the show in the first place.

Rusher Sherif I know, and like there's so much they could tell us about his character like his life before the fire, his was he before he met Kate, and like what about his dad? They ever showed him, only his mom as the Alpha. And Derek is really important because every time there's a threat he knows what to do and what's happening (history nerd!derek) and like his character was really important, he was There When Scott needed to know something he was ALWAYS there for them no matter what, he was there for his sister when she was in the hospital, he was there for stiles when he became the nogitsune, without Derek its just not the same. (Btw #Sterekforlife)

+Anelis Peña Exactly! We know everybody's backstory but all we know about Derek is that his mother was an alpha, he had two sisters, but his crazy uncle killed one of them and his other sister lives in south america now, the rest of his family is dead, he can't stay in a relationship because they all end up being killers, and he killed Paige and got blue eyes, even though she asked for it. He is always harboring the werewolf newbies. He doesn't complain about anything like when he gets hurt (which is like every episode he's in). Where did he go at the end of season 4? And have you seen the trailer for season 6 and someone had a pic of him carrying Stiles? Is that real? I really hope he comes back for the finale at least and I hope Jeff Davis reveals Stiles' real name at the end. I'm dying to know.

They should do a spin-off series about Derek and his life before everything went to hell, and his perspectives on things and where's he's now. It's all so important. Btw i really hope they reveal stiles real name in this season, also people are saying that he's not coming back to season 6b and I'm literally dying

i love him so much. people are always talking about how hot he is (which is true) and about his moodiness but never about how incredibly brave he really is. he's lost his pack twice, his family burn to death in a fire, his uncle killed his sister, he had to kill the love of his life because she was in too much pain, everyone is always being so rude to him and while he could've chosen to be the villain, he still chose to protect everyone around him and not once putting himself before others. a true hero.

I wanted Derek to get the happy ending he deserved, he was filled with so much sadness it almost hurt to watch, I honestly wanted someone/Anyone to tell him they loved him and actually meant it, he had to kill the only person he ever loved and when he finally did meet someone who could make him happy (Breaden) she was only in a few episodes and then we never saw her again....I love the season 6 finale but I did have a few problems with it, Especially problems concerning Derek and his moment in the spotlight, Derek Hale was so Underrated and Under appreciated 😭😭❤️❤️

Anelis Peña exactly! Tyler Hoechlin said that he felt that Derek's arc was complete and there was nothing to add to his story- which is just not true! I'm just glad they've made a big deal about leaving the door open for Hoechlin to be written back in, hence why Derek's exit is so vague, but so far it seems like Hoechlin has no intention of returning and we're in the last season of the show, so that plan could really backfire.
