Hello there, beautiful people! I know this video is exceptionally long, but per the poll in my community tab it looks like most of you were cool with a super long video. I've tried to link as many videos as I possibly could where I used these eyeshadow palettes on camera to create a look. There’s just something so satisfying after a declutter, letting go of the things we don’t really use anymore,it’s like I have a new lease on life. I feel lighter, fresh, open for possibilities I’m peaceful and more clear headed too. I no longer feel guilty about ignoring the makeup but never use it. It’s like I feel like a bad friend or something to it. I decluttered my JH palette, I never really loved it like everyone else did. Keep the Emily wants palette only if YOU want it, and love using it, you definitely don’t need to hang on to it for us. Have a great weekend Lauren!😘

Yes! Exactly! And the joy on other people’s faces when I give them that same makeup I’m not using is the best thing ever. I used to hold on to things for way too long. Now I feel pretty content only keeping things I really love!

I’m not into either Morphe or Revolution products so I would declutter both of the large pallets but I would have kept the Violet Voss pallet. I would love to have a declutter week when you do your January clean out. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

The Violet Voss is definitely a good palette. I just feel like there will definitely be someone in my life that will go crazy over that palette and love it so much, so I'd rather them have it and enjoy it. And so good to know you're excited for declutter week!

I've noticed an interesting shift when it comes to the JH Morphe palette. I really enjoy watching palette collection and declutter videos, and for the loooooongest time whenever that palette came up it was always 'I love this palette/use it all the time/it's absolutely staying' etc. Recently I've noticed quite a few people decluttering it. I think part of it is that it's an older palette, but with all her recent drama I think some people may just be losing their attachment to it. If you actually use it, then I would keep it. But if it's just for your channel I really don't think it hurts to get rid of it. The new Colourpop So Jaded palette gives me the same feel as that palette as a larger palette with lots of shade options and a combination of neutrals and colours. I wouldn't be surprised if some end up picking it up as a more current replacement. As for the Emily palette, it's still really mixed. I see a lot of people keep it and love it, but there are a lot decluttering it as well. I'd be curious to see you maybe do a last chance video with it where you do a few looks and decide from there if it has a place in your collection or not.

I think that’s probably a really good idea (the last chance video). I’m sure I have more than a few products that I’m thinking of getting rid of and it would probably be helpful to decide! And yeah I totally agree with your assessment on the JH Palette. It’s a great palette, but I’m always reaching for other things nowadays.

Also, I guess we all can admit that JH and Morphe did a good job with that palette. It’s a shame that things are they way they are in the industry, but I guess that’s life, right?

I can imagine! Subscription boxes are a great way to build up your collection without spending a ton of money. Even if you only do it for a few months (so you don’t spend as much as subbing for a full year). If you have the chance to treat yourself, I say that’s a great way to do it 😊 thanks for watching!

I kept the Emily Edit and got rid of the Jacklyn Hill palette because it was so boring and I am keeping more unique shades. With my tan skin, many shades look the same. The Emily Edit takes a bit of work, but I’m so inspired with the shades. Great collection there.

That is very true! There’s a reason so many people love it. They did a great job putting that palette together. I think part of it is that I know recently I haven’t been reaching for it, and I know I mostly keep it for videos at thjs point. Its good to know you’re still loving it!

If you think the zoeva palette you have is kinda basic, you could check if you can get the eclectic eyes, the eye see or the offline palette, they are the same formula but to me they are more like winter autumn palettes, I do have all of them and they fantastic! I don't know if you can get them at ulta cause I am Spanish and I get them from sephora and I can swatch them at store. But they such good palettes. Also, I don't mind you did this declutter now, I'm ready for decluttering season now ☺️ Also, I'd love to see some looks with the douce palette, I think it's so pretty but I never buy it because I feel like I'm not going to be able to get any looks from it? Also I'd love to see more videos of the emily noel palette?

I definitely would love to try another palette from Zoeva in the future! I'll have to keep an eye out and see what calls to me. I linked one video with a look using the Doucce palette, but good to know that it's of interest to you! I would definitely like to use it more, so I'll keep that one in mind for future tutorials 😊

Lauren DellaFera your so right! I was going through my palettes and I got a couple with the yellows and greens in them and these are the only colors that I don’t have any clue how to wear. I have seen one lady awhile back ago and she done a look with yellow and I can’t find the video now. But yes I totally agree with you.

Big palettes can be overwhelming. I think my favorites are ones with 12 to 14 shades!

To tell you the true I didn't really know who JH was. I bought that palette because it looked so beautiful and the formula is really good. I wouldn't get rid off mine because I already wasted my money and I do reach for it. If you still use it keep it ,the only reason I would remove it from my collection is if I wasn't reaching for it.😊

Truth! If the money is spent, it’s not necessarily better to just throw something away. I think I’ve been torn because I haven’t been using it much, and normally I would find motivation by wanting to make a video of some kind, but I don’t really want to use the palette on camera. So yeah. I’ll see if I have a change of heart, and if not, it may leave my collection in January!

It's definitely a tough call! I don't think it's a bad palette by any means, and I loved it so much when I first got it. I think I've just been more smitten with other things in my collection lately, and am only holding on to it because I loved it in the past.

I bought one of the JH vault palettes, but not the original one. Still love the vault palette and use it a lot... but unsubscribed to Jaclyn's channel. I was really sad about it, actually. Had been subscribed to her since 2015 and she's who got me into makeup.

*TIP* If you're not subscribed to boxycharm but you like something in it you can go on eBay, Mercari or Poshmark and buy what you like usually for $10.00 or less I just bought recently off of eBay two of The Violet Voss Essential Palettes that were in the boxycharm in September for $10.00 each I'm giving one of them to a friend for her birthday

That’s a great tip! I know I list items I don’t want from Boxycharm on my Poshmark sometimes. So it’s definitely helpful if you are a subscriber to know you can recoup some of the cost of your box if you get an item you won’t use 😊

So it’s actually not polish, but a set of press on nails from imPress! Apparently they don’t make this style anymore (which I am still not over lol) BUT they have A TON of cute styles and are always making new ones. They’re super easy to apply and last a long time. 1000% recommend!

I have over 80 eyeshadow palettes. Already sent a bunch to my niece. I rotate several weekly so none stay ignored. Not buying more and cancelling boxy after Oct. I just am not ready to let go of more. I have JH Morphe and the Emily Wants. Won't buy JH or Morphe again. Still use both palettes.

Mmm I’m definitely not for throwing away makeup you already bought just because you no longer support the brand/person. I honestly haven’t been reaching for my JH palette a lot lately because I have so many other things I’m into at the moment. And so good of you to share with your family! Also, I think as long as you are happy with your collection, you shouldn’t feel pressured to shrink it down.

I have the Jaclyn Hill palette x morphe and the makeup revolution x Emily edit the wants palette and makeup revolution x sophx as the only makeup collab’s The Jaclyn Hill pallete is the only morphe palette I own because of the teams reasoning but I love that palette and won’t purchase after I can’t stand it anymore lol (I will never use it up lol) and the Emily edit has grown on me and I have used it more then the Jaclyn palette and the sophx palette I love as an everyday palette But to be honest I don’t own as much eyeshadow palettes plus I the morphe palette is the most expensive eyeshadow palette I own I have a lot of drugstore/affordable products and I am content.

I hate watch my Friendcation palette. 1 week after I paid full price, it went on sale. It has gone on sale another 2 times. And I dont like the packaging....if you're a highend brand that attempts fancy packaging, make it actually nice. Its very cheaply made, i can see the little magnet imprints sticking in/out. And the formula is just okay....i find the mattes on me apply a shade or two deeper than whats in the pan (it happens, but is rare), and the pink metallic stained my lids for a good 3 days. I dont even get stains from vegan formulas. All in all, i wish I hadnt paid full price for it because to me, it isnt worth $55

The wants palette is not appealing to me. I don’t like cheap plastic packaging and the way it looks overall screams boring to me. I don’t think influencers should keep palettes to please other youtubers. So much is releasing, you should only keep what truly inspires you
