Every one when on the begining was saying bm3 was faster but after some times testing and people using both mhd is faster. Mhd is more aggressive so good gas quality plays a roll plus the ots tunes on the b58 are excellent and not much room to grow even when custom. Mhd e40 map is probably the fastest ots right now compare to bm3 and mg flasher.

I like the way it sounds, it sounds exotic and better than a B9 S4 all day. I’ve heard S4’s with upgraded exhausts and they’re farty. I like the exhaust crackle too its tasteful and not annoying.

For flashing on iPhone I think you need to go into low power mode and it stops all the extra background tasks. I just bought a cheap android and cable though I’m not gonna mess with failed writes all the time.

Did you gap plugs before the tune? Even MHD themselves recommends gapping to .22 before flashing, but a lot of people argue that it isn't necessary. I'm planning on gapping to .24 before going stage 2 91

Stage 2 no issues , car always run great When I went stage 3 custom I start using champions ( champions are scale 4 on their own chart , ngk is scale 8 on their own chart but champ 4 is a little colder than ngk 8) 0.25 when pushing higher boost and car runs flawless with 149k and tune since 98k No issues what so ever.

M240i bootmod3 stage 2+ e30. Peak boost at 21 psi and then tapers down to 19. 60-130 8.93 100-200 7.63 I really don’t believe mhd is that much stronger

@@ganuv alright I finally tried e40 mhd. Definitely faster. 60-130 of 8.65 with wheel spin when I first got on it. 100-200 of 7.42. Butt dyno feels similar

Seems as though MHD does better with the B58, where’s as BM3 does better with N55. Btw, my F15 X5 N55 w/ BM3 stage 2 flash tune saw a peak boost of 19psi. Again, not sure with the B58. I also have the Vibrant muffler and it sounds soooo good. It’s the MPE at 1/4 the price.

Dinan tunes are not even that noticeable when you install them on any car pretty much, i would go MHD 100%, MHD tune erases all of the factory tune parameters and writes a new map on the dme

Stage 2 with catless DP is around 470 hp that’s around 400 wheel, plus it’s recommended to tune the transmission ..XHP stage 3 , that’s when you’ll feel the full potential of the power.and he’s right , intake doesn’t do anything, just cosmetics and sound that’s about it.

Some ppl on forums say flash tunes add on to the MPPSK, sooo its faster than a stock 340. Even though it’s a map, it’s based on % percentages. That’s why it could be it feels faster on this 340 Can anyone confirm?

The only way the mppsk package adds to the performance of the vehicle after flashing an OTS map or custom tune is the free flowing exhaust. Once the new map is flashed it rewrites the mppsk map which is essentially the stage 0+ that MHD offers.

MHD has so many issues flashing and support is trash. It failed to flash for you twice you mention. It was failing for me so many times and I couldn't reach anyone at MHD for support other than some quick response on instagram that did nothing to help. BM3 by far is a more complete solution and makes more power on LESS boost because they do more timing. Less boost, more power, less heat, better for your turbos.

I had BM3 and it definitely doesn’t feel as strong as the MHD, and MHD never failed flash on me even ones , so I think your coming from a bias place because you have BM3 but MHD is is better and it’s not just my opinion.

I'm surprised that the tune is that much ($500USD) for the super license on a B58. I just bought the super license in Canada for the N54 three months ago and it was $375 CAD. So that's about $300 USD.
