Charge pipes were one of the first things I did to my M2c! I noticed immediately better throttle response which is crazy because the s55’s responsiveness is so good. I have BMS charge pipes paired with the MST cold air intake which I highly recommend. Open filter design that utilizes the bottom half of the stock air box and it has rubber sealing for when you go and close the hood. So you get nice cold air separated from the engine bay and you get that open filter sound! MST intake!

Justin Cheung dude after properly driving my car in the dry i swear it feels faster with the new chargepipes 😂 And hell yea, your exact reasoning is why I also have MST intakes sitting in my garage right now. Just need to install them lol, hows the sound?
@amcheung104 жыл бұрын
Simply Car Things it sounds really good. It’s got the most induction sound around 3-4K rpm, and you can hear a nice blow off sound too under load and then letting off the throttle. And I swear it gave my engine a deeper growl to it too. I’ll try to dm you on instagram
@kmaul374 жыл бұрын
I have watched your channel a bunch congrats on the M4. I also have a M4 and do all my own maintenance, I have the same charge pipes. Never reuse the old O-rings from the old pipes!! They gave you new ones!! And much easier to remove both then install rear, then the front. As well with you're Maf sensor its much easier to unplug then removing it eliminate the wear on your seal. You definitely need to put the O-rings that came with the kit always put new in boost leaks with old O-rings is normal.

Justin Allen i think they will hold up if you keep the car stock but then again they cracked on my friends stock F80 😂 its just a good preventative maintenance bit to perform. Great info! Quick question, I recalled you saying you finance a portion of the car still. I was curious, usually you can’t modify financed cars mechanically. (Engine, suspension etc..) they say if done it voids the contract. My question was how are you able to change the suspension & a mechanical piece (charge pipe) w/ out any consequences to your contract?
@SimplyCarThings4 жыл бұрын
MoMmaWhyYouMaddd theres nothing in my contract that says i cant modify my car. I purchased it used through a private party, and didn’t buy through BMW or anything so it’s fairly lax in terms of the buying process
@numberdontlie6or94 жыл бұрын
Oh man that’s awesome! I’ve heard horrible stories where people have purchased vehicles & once modifications were done (unknowingly to the contracts restrictions) they ended up losing the car or was forced to pay the remaining balance upfront. Would hate for that to happen to you. Great car man, keep up the content!

I have a 335i e92 and I am about to put in catless downpipes and an intercooler, and move from mhd stage 1 to mhd stage 2+. how big is the difference?
