Bought my wife a 435I with the m option package off Ebay of all places. Paid around $25000 and the owner had 5 high end cars. Did I mention it's a convertible. Otherwise it's stock. Red interior.

The bore and stroke are the same as the N52 N54 and N55, it did not change with the S55, in fact, all of those engines had the exact same crankshaft main+rod journal size too.

uel exhaust, and the bmw factor. plenty of uel I6's that don't sound like a marble in a coffee can. bmw has perfected a ruined I6 sound, s54, n54, n52, s55, s58, etc, all should be legally required to add more mufflers.

Hey, just got these for my M2 OG. Had them installed at a good shop but the rears are clunking. Do you know if the rear top spring perch is supposed to be removed when installing the rear springs? I think the issue is that the tech didn't remove them. Thanks.

Why would you have the windows down when driving fast in the modern era? As an owner of a 991.1.... I have never driven past 25 mph with the windows down for about 1,000 reasons. As a general rule, open ANY car's windows, even a convertible (with top up), while over 50 mph, and wind buffeting is an issue. Just do not do it, not a problem. I do disagree that she lacks in power at any rpm, but 3-4k RPM's is not a place I spend much time save lower gears in traffic. Nice review.

So I have thought about this solution, however I have an x drive model so front diff mounts to oil pan, are there any solutions for this? Can you swap s55 oil pump and not pan?
