as a hunter main, i can confidently say the reason a lot of survivors get terrorshocked is because they are too predictable. Firstly ive never fallen for the crouch or emote trick when survs rescue on chair, the animation is simply too different. To land a terrorshock i usually dont hit when i see the survivor physically actually rescue, instead after they do a false rescue and double back. the reason is after they back up i can assume they will go back to the chair to rescue again, whether thats another false one or the real rescue that time. Sometimes i hit when i see the rescue animation play out other times i use this trick.

Rescuing just puts too much pressure and stress on me. That's why I sort of stopped playing rescuer 😭 And then I see all these Tiktok videos from JP and CN players having amazing elbow pads usage that encourages me to play as him again

i'm a merc main! kiting is not my best thing, i feel more comfortable doing rescues ngl sometimes people would complain on post chat that i didn't rescue but tbh it's always either someone goes to rescue before me without pinging or it's an early down, im not wasting my tide smh

My only pro tip life tip is ask yourself these questions before deciding on rescuing, 1. Was the kite long enough? If yes then even if they didn’t bring out trait go for the rescue. If no 2. Did they bring out trait? If yes I would go for it anyway With his slow take of damage he you can be a bit more riskier, and start saving at least one elbow pad encase you get chaired or taking next chase. That’s all my tips I got because I am unswag and a mammoth naib

Another thing about the basement thing, someone told me to stay in the back of basement to avoid the double down and if the hunter comes after you the doctor can go away aswell in the back of basement if the hunter goes for you, you can elbow pad to the stairs and escape like that.

I’ve pretty much been forced to become a rescue main since no one likes to rescue in rank, and its really unrewarding. Like i rescue against a feaster with like 100 tentacles set up and do a clean rescue but get no points? They need to adjust the point system for rescuing cuz it’s really difficult.

That's strange, since the rescuer usually ends up with the highest score in most matches unless the kiter ends up 5 cipher kiting.

Hey zeez,I’ve been trying to get back into idv but Everytime I get on I play for like 1 or 2 days then take another few months hiatus. I don’t know how to actually focus on idv due to me playing other games too. Do you have any suggestion to make to game more entertaining for a solo player like myself?

Hard to say. I don't think you should force yourself to play the game though. If you only like playing a little, that's fine too! Looking for reasons to play something might end up in you disliking the game entirely after a while. I think it's fine to take it slow paced and do what you think is fun. Though I think just experiencing something new IDV has to offer never hurts. Try new characters, play other game modes, watch some IDV media, read the manga, etc. Anything that you think is fun
