OMG finally someone on booktube who has vampire chronicles in their fall tbr!!! I'm almost at the end of Vampire Lestat and I absolutely love it!

Great choices, I really wouldn’t worry about Babel, it’s not as heavy as people say, there’s historical and academic references, but they’re mostly in the footnotes so it doesn’t drag the book down. I enjoyed it, I just felt the pacing was a bit off. The original Anne Rice vampire trilogy is great fun. I haven’t read them since I was a teenager (many decades ago) but I remember liking them a lot. Good luck for the autumn.
