Super relate ako dun sa medical statement mo capt. I was very sad when CAAP decided to fail me sa medical dahil bukod sa umabot ako ng 120+ kg, plus highblood pa. Eventually, I decided to lose weight, exercise daily, and to eat healthy. Ngayon, I am at 98 kilos, has my SPL, and hopefully, will start my flying sessions by January. Thank you for the good advices, Capt!

Hi Captain a fellow subscriber to your channel, if I became a Pilot before I'm sure I will also feel sadness being far away from your loved one especially your family. Being homesick is my number one enemy especially if your loved ones are sick and you want to put all your time with them all the time. Using a communication device is not enough to fully satisfy this distress. Usually I do is to pray that Lord will always protect us and thankful for the time He gave to us.

Through PAFOCS (Philippine Airforce Officer Candidate School) if graduate kana ng college pwedeng dyan kana pumasok, kahit di na sa PMA. Mag uundergo ka ng almost 15months basic and rigid military training compared sa PMA na 4-yrs, pag graduate mo dun wala namang pinagkaiba yung rank mo sa PMA graduate, which is 2nd Lt din. Pero mas maganda kasi yung opportunity sa PMA, ayun lang advantage niya sa mga Officer Candidate School. Iba pa yung 15 months training kasi yung 15 months na yun is just for military and leadership training, if you wish to become pilot of PAF i think 3 years training yun if don’t mistaken. Pero during your training sumusweldo ka na din naman 🙂

Captain question po pag na sa regional airlines ka sa Philippines pwede ka na po ba mag major airlines sa ibang countries like USA you don't have to go a regional airlines?

US has a different setup. In the Philippines most regional destinations are flown by the Major airlines. In the Philippines its either you are in the airlines or in General aviation.
