I look forward to an eternity without Satan and his dicive ways of destroying family. I saw him once. He's short and very dirty to look at. The words of Isaiah was where said inside my head, This is the man who did move the earth and shook the kingdoms?! He isn't much to look at let alone be honored by those he lead to their destructions. He is nothing. There really isn't much to look at or fear. He once was the brightest, most beatiful, charming, charismatic and could sing more beautiful than heavenly birds could. He held a great deal of pride in his heart and thought himself even better than Jesus Christ. Well, we all know what happened from there, ya know, his terrible way he plays us against each other. Just stay away from those who truly don't understand that kindness and truly honest love in our hearts will truly save our souls. Kudos to her for finally walking away!! My dad loved me so did my father-in-law because they truly understood my inward and outward beauty. Yes and no. Unless you really know what it is like to be the scapegoat in a family of narcissists, you can't judge the person in the situation. These people convince you that they are all you have. They gaslight you and abuse you, then turn around and tell you that you are the only one who understands them. Until you finally have someone(s) in your corner, you aren't lifted from the fog. Even still, you try to extend them kindness, but they turn around and try to destroy you. I was raised to be empathetic. So, it still took me until I was fifty and the necessity to protect my non-blood loved ones from my immediate family, in order to go no contact and threaten them with legal action if they came around me or my chosen family. It is the same for OP. Until she realized she had to protect her fiancé (then husband), she still tried to be a good person...but setup boundaries. Eventually, however, the gloves came off. Besides, this abuse makes the victim conflict averse, choosing to pick their battles. Just like OP wants to drop the whole thing, rather than sue for defamation. It is just easier to walk away, especially being pregnant. However, once baby comes, watch out. OP will not only remove the gloves, she will be using them to slap some sense into any family coming after her or her child.

Technically, parents are only obligated to pay for food, clothes, and medicine when needed. Short of that, everything else kids get are privileges not rights. Parents are not obligated to give their kids toys, electronics or anything that's not considered necessary. A child could be stuck in a room with a sleeping bag and a pile of clothes in the corner, with no resemblance of a typical child's bed, and it's technically not abuse or neglect. Even medicine is a gray area since parents can deny medical treatment if they feel like it's not necessary or against religious beliefs.

When you work in wedding venues you see some pretty incredible antics. I have seen groomsmen unconscious in the bushes with some random trying to get them interested in whatever they had planned before falling unconscious. I have on one occasion seen a bridesmaid strip in the car park because she was unable to fit on the bridal table (Literally the bridal table had the bride, groom their parents and that was it for this ceremony.) The dress was paid for by the bride and was not cheap and was meant to be a gift to her bridesmaids and it was disgusting how on someone's special day some Karen can get so pissey that they actually strip off and leave in underwear. I remember lots of other events but most of all I loved when the local Samoan or Māori family's came for weddings. The ladies looked great, the men looked handsome, and the staff got treated with respect. Our only major change was we would provide way more Roast Vegies and literally every time it got refilled it was announced and pillaged. Never saw a single bad incident at those weddings. BTW Friends of mine worked at the Greek Club and their wedding stories included brides having to have the money removed off the bride multiple times during the night due to the weight of the notes. One couple bought a house with cash following the wedding. BTW Greek Club weddings had very high costs so the wedding was likely around 100K when alcohol was included at a minimum. Our wedding venue 20 yrs ago was 80 to 140 per head and Greek club was approx double not including Alcohol etc.
