I was there again this weekend for WSBK..top guys are lapping at around 1:43 or so...they do offer trackdays for motorbike..just email the tickets office. ciao.

WSBK Stop riding Portimao in 2013 and the tops did a lap in 1.41. Today they will probably go under .40. Also, you have to consider that with a bike you hit speed that in those cars you don't take. So at the end of straight when you have to brake, you have to do it before. He arrived at turn 1 at 234 km/h and brakes at the end of the downhill, you can see videos of Canepa with an R1 SBK during practice arrive at 300+ km/h and brake up the hill, just a few meters before. In SBK you can reach 1.8G in deceleration
