For me too. Met him as a kid when he was playing a charity game at a minor counties ground in England. So humble, and he walked round and talked to everyone in the crowd when his side was batting. You don't expect that from top world class sports players.

@@killermonk47 It was Britishers Plan to devide the nation if they had to leave it and persuaded jinna to lobby for leadership in Indian Politics or to have a separate nation to be formed out if India. Nehru who was not going to slid the opportunity to others to rule the country didn't wish to do ao..hence Gandhi ji became the mediator between both and to keep nehru on the throne, he agreed to the partition. It's so sad that the youngsters won't have these type of great memories. When will india resume cricket with pakistan? Why are politicians ruining everything for their gains ? So many greats from both countries can sit down together and share so many memories and people can travel across borders
