If family takes advantage of you and you have a recourse, take it. Family will shaft you faster than anyone

That's the one thing I could never forgive. I scrimp and save, and then those who squander their money ask for handouts and get them

I would have had my father arrested. For credit card fraud.

Olivia’s strength in setting boundaries is inspiring. How do you set boundaries in your own relationships when lines are crossed?

When you have a credit card you can spend up to the limit always knowing that you must pay it back or else the interest will really quickly add up. The story person must make a decent salary to have a credit limit over $25,000.

I wish the story would have said why she called her dad “Paul” instead of dad… & why hadn’t her mom raised her. OP should have told mommydearest “Then YOU give me my $25K back!!

Red flags all over in a few years and never protected her money, not clever, but this time she won.

I'm not sure why every time all these guilt trips work. To me, family never does any shit like this. Ever. The moment it happens is when family went out the window ages ago, thus guilt has no place at all.

If it’s a credit card, how did she save for it?
@tannerhume62692 күн бұрын
She has/had money in the bank as savings. Paul put her on the spot by trying to make her pay for what he stole !!

These stories are hard to follow. You don't save for a credit card. You do save in a bank account. Which did he have access to.
@peterjackhandy2 күн бұрын
Even if it was a Debit card he'd have needed her PIN to make any payments with it

@@tannerhume6269 but they said credit card, not debit card, not savings acct. credit card.
@nitawffletcher3861Күн бұрын
They have bank cards that you can use as debit or credit. The money just needs to be in the bank, no PIN necessary if you choose credit.

You save in a bank account. You pay back credit. These stories can be confusing. Good evening from the North west of the UK.
@tannerhume62692 күн бұрын
@BeatriceCowley-x4p exactly!! You save for your future or in case of an emergency!! To have someone steal from you . Plus if you didnt pay back there would interest to pay on the amount !!
@nitawffletcher3861Күн бұрын
You can use your bank card as a credit card if you have the money to cover it in the bank. When paying you have the choice of debit or credit.

I am just thinking about any interest if it is a credit card.
