OP needs to be sure she has an ironclad will--with a letter explaining why she left sissypoo, Stepdaddydearest & mommydearest out of all inheritance. I’d even go so far as to, proactively, make sure they can’t gain a right to be POA & make any decisions on OP’s behalf, should OP be unable to make them for herself. OP will also need documents preventing them from access to any children she will have one day

If you are over 18, move your money from your childhood bank account that your family can access. Move it to full adults bank account in your name only.

US Law requires any bank account to have an adult control it. This account when OP was under-age. She should have transfered to a different account on her 18th Birthday but that is not something most teens would not think about.

If the sister didn't know they used her money then she wasn't complicit. It's stupid to blame her for what their parents did. Yes, she benefitted but that's on the parents.
