My Father World Kindergarten- How I organized, What it looks like, etc.

Yay! My son loves the MFW Kindergarten! We are starting it with my daughter this upcoming year. It’s full of different, fun activities! It is a gentle pace, so I ended up supplementing some things. The books are great and so are the different activities! I too organized the worksheets in folders, makes it handy. That’s a great idea how you organized your books!! Smart!

I like to do a 3 days of this with Rod and Staff preschool workbooks and a phonics drill book on opposite days. This allows us to have 2 weeks of lessons per letter...making this a full year around curriculum. I did this for the first time 12 years ago! Looking forward for doing it with my 5 year old preker next year. We are doing Before Five in a Row this year beginning in January. We use Robinson curriculum plus favorite science and history books for the middle and high schoolers. I feel this frees mom to do MFW or literature studies with the littles. I tried to do MFW in the older years, but I need that time for tutoring so Robinson has freed our time by putting reading based studies upon the student instead of the parent.

Thank you so much for this video! I also got a used MFW first edition teacher's manual. This really helped me understand how to use it. I was having a hard time figuring out how to use it because I didn't buy the whole package I felt like I was missing out on something. Your video really helped me understand I am not and I think I was putting too much pressure on myself. Thanks for sharing!

Simply Raising Arrows you don’t need to worry about the recognition. It will happen with the help of k. We did the pre-k program but it will all come with time!!
