I don't want to be rude or anything, but theme Sleeping beauty was not aabout the pricess. It is about dress from 19th century, which are sleeping in boxes in perfect c9ndition and were displayed now, even they are falling apart just with touch. So sleeping beauty that after long sleep these beautiful 100 years dresses were awaken and brought ot life for people to see them. Maybe last time. Nothing to do woth princesses.

Honestly, I think it's pretty coincidental that Lana Del Rey's dress spoke specifically to the movie Sleeping Beauty with the thorns deterring true love's first kiss in awakening Auroror (and her beauty). Much like deterring touching "sleeping beauties" in the physical form of dress. I love that art, beauty, creativity, fashion, etc all have different interpretations. All of these dresses (and suits!) can be viewed through both the lens of the literal meaning of sleeping beauty and more princess lore. It's an expression, and many people view it all differently, even if the real theme is more about beautiful fashion preservation. Regardless, many of these looks (even the ones I didn't mention) were beautiful and spoke to the theme well.

@@ElaineJohnston honestly, Lana made the dress by the theme anyway, garden of time, that short story... this dress are on the theme anyway. I am watching Hautelemode, so I know about the theme, since Luke is talking about it quite specifically each year. And he was telling from the start, that a lot of people will understand it as disnay princesses. And honestly, fashion is also an art, so why not? Lana crushed it anyway, great dress and one of my favorites 😊
