The skill on display here is incredible. You can tell he lives, breathes, and eats boxing. @KevinJDildonik3 ай бұрын
"He punches hard" is an L take. Power means almost nothing in high level boxing, as Usyk shows. A winning take is asking how can Inoue generate so much power in such tight spaces. He can surprise opponents with knockout punches in odd moments, and that's how he stumbles people. It's not just "innate". He has great core flexibility, and he uses full-body torque for punches other boxers wouldn't. It's like prime Mike Tyson. He's drilled a windup to do a killshot in a moment that other boxers might consider a relatively minor opening.
@GomaGoesFishing3 ай бұрын
@@KevinJDildonikpower is very important even in high level Boxing otherwise people will just eat through your punches. Harder to pull off your gameplan when your power isn't respected. but in the end, timing, proper positioning, and footwork beats power and speed. Usyk definitely has power, enough to make you respect him but he beats you with impeccable footwork. Making opponents miss their shots at the heavyweight level is a huge advantage because it tires them out fast

One thing I never get tired of watching, is how when someone is truly a master of their craft and operating in good form, it looks almost effortless. That goes for pretty much anything. A really good artist can take a pencil and sketch out a portrait with uncanny likeness in a few minutes. A top level musician can just step into a jam session and pick it up like it was rehearsed. A truly gifted fighter makes fighting look easy. Lerdsila is a good example, the best description of him I've heard is that he fights like people who've never been in, or trained for, a fight (but watch a lot of movies) thinks they would fight if it came down to it. "I'd just lean away from their punch and kick them in the head" no you wouldn't. Not without an ungodly amount of training and natural ability. Long story short, Inoue exemplifies that. Effortless skill can make the hardest accomplishments look easy. Amazing to watch

From Espinoza, Ball, Figueroa and Vargas. Even if his power carries to that weight class it would still be rough going.

The build would be the biggest issue. Inoue is a small super bantamweight, would be a definite size mismatch for all his featherweight opponents. Would be interesting to see for sure
@redghettosun2 ай бұрын
@@RD-wg9em I agree. It's tough to see him going any further than 126 with his frame. Unlike Pacquiao, who was never a body snatcher, Inoue's best play would be to go for the liver and gut punches even more. Then up to the head when he's worn them down. Since Inoue can actually box, him dominating at that level could happen.

@@redghettosun the issue is just how dominant he is at 22. Nakatani coming up is the only compelling fight left. So you admit to not having an opinion of your own and just regurgitate what others say? That's called being an NPC my friend. As for my opinion, Inoue is by no means "overrated" but his opposition thus far compared to the likes of Canelo, Crawford, and especially Usyk keeps him out of the top P4P ranks in my book. Cry.

@@hewhoshallnotbenamed5168 Inoue admits he has no rivals in his class. That's why he says he insists on KO to prove the difference in ability between him and his opponent. Inoue says, "If a decision win is good enough for me, I am confident that I can win without getting hit by a single punch." If he wants to win by KO, he will be hit by punches, but so will Usyk and Bud. What exactly are Inoue's inferiority points?

Problem with inoue the quality of fighters he fought, not saying they're are weak but he challenge fighters he already knew he got big advantage..

That’s why he has moved up 5 weights? How is that any more advantageous?

If Inoue's proper weight class was lightweight and Tank or Shakur's proper weight class was bantamweight, this discussion would not take place.

His 1st pro fight was an 8rounder against a national champ, 6th was a world champ, in his 8th fight he moved up 2 divisions to fight the champ with 45 wins and only 1 loss to Donaire, everytime he moved up he fought a champ. He's only fought the toughest opponents he could in his division. His opponents usually have the size advantage.

I dont the believe the style of inoue, unless he beat casimero but its not gonna happen coz casimero would surely win about 200 percent.
