Filipino livers are something else, man. I remember you once saying something about Inoue being the cause for "an impressive amount of human suffering" due to his liver shots. With that in mind, Dasmarinas and Donaire took an impressive amount of _that_ suffering just between the two of them, because they ate those shots and managed to get up for more.

I prefer to take the inside foot position simply because it’s easier land the jab and right hand. Southpaws I’ve fought always try get the outside foot. I just let them and step to my right as they come in and get the right hand off as they fall in. Saves you thinking too much about foot position. Also means you can slip into the dead zone (step right) where they can’t get there shots off but you’ve open them up for your own attacks.

@bjuganda77585 ай бұрын
You mean a probing jab? Boxers do this when fighting Orthodox vs Southpaw to measure the distance from themselves and their opponent. For this, they can tell how far or close they can punch and stop their opponent from jabbing

I get the impression that Inoue dominates almost entirely with his natural speed and power and not with next level boxing skills. He’s a good boxer but basic. I believe he could do with a better trainer added to his camp. His dad has done a good job, but let’s face it, he’s not recognized as an elite trainer. As Inoue moves up in weight and his power becomes less of an advantage he will have to rely on his speed advantage and boxing skill. Quite a few guys have been able to out box him, but his power changes everything. That won’t happen in higher weight classes
