Thank you for sharing! Is it safe to drink the fruit juices, ice, and fruits/vegetables? We are going here next month and want to make sure our family does not get the stomach bug. Also, is there a primary way of transportation throughout the resort like use of golf carts? Thank you! :)

Honestly none of us got sick in our family and I had a ton of drinks with ice, fruit and veggies. There are no golf carts, the resort is pretty easy to get around. There are lots of hills and stairs in some places but helps you work off all the amazing food and drink lol! I’m sure you’ll have a fabulous time! I hope you checked out all the videos I made about this amazing resort! It is honestly my favorite! I wish I was going there next month too! 😘 Thanks for commenting.

@@happywife1234great thank you! I just watched your playlist! It was very helpful. How early can you book a reservation at the restaurants and how? Where did you take out Mexican dollars for tipping (ATMs)? Sorry for all the questions. Just wanting to be prepared haha

@@jellyoder oh I love helping people so I don’t mind asking all the questions that I can answer! I sent an email to the resort ahead of time to ask about the best room for a KZbin video and how soon we could make reservations. When we checked in, they said you can now make reservations on the app or see the concierge to make reservations in the morning. They did find a spot for us the evening we arrived at portofino. We were able to reserve at La Adelita and las terrazzas but there were no spots available at bamboo for us. I have a feeling it was closed the week we were there. To be honest, we preferred the buffet at dinner because of the service. It was outstanding. Kind of felt forgotten about at the Ala cartes when it came to drinks and such. I am in Canada and I purchased Pesos at a Calforex exchange. We purchased I think 3500 pesos for around $300 Canadian. We spent most of our cash on tipping and our trip to Sayulita!

I also think there is an atm at the resort. We were able to break into smaller bills at the front desk. I’ve heard to stay away from atms that are stand alone and you should only deal with the ones attached to banks. There is also a second fee that you can avoid paying my not accepting when it asks you to when dispensing cash. This is why I brought cash before I came! Less hassle!

Good to know! I was hoping we can make reservations earlier before we arrive but it looks like we will have to wait and see what is available. We plan on only taking out for tips and a Sayulita day trip as well! In regards to room location, do you know what area to ask for that is quieter? We will be traveling with our baby and don't want to be by loud music. Also, did you need a SIMS card for your phone so you don't get charged for roaming fees?@@happywife1234
