I’m not real happy with most of the Prime Day deals I’m seeing. Many products have inflated their price, then added a discount, so they are the same price they were before the sale started. So don’t feel rushed to over-buy “before the sale ends.”

I get that. I did notice that the Paul Rubens 50% Cotton watercolor paper was actually on sale as were the Fuumuui Travel Brushes. At least there's something!

I’m just sad to see almost all of the art supplies I waited to buy over the last few months hoping from some awesome PD deals were duds… with some even going up a small amount. I am very used to brand names doing that (like Prismacolor sets go way up during sales at Michaels) I just had hoped for more. Maybe some stuff will list tomorrow. 🤞

I live in Wyoming and my M. Graham paint has never dried hard. It’s been 2 years. 😁 That’s a dealbreaker for me. I have other paint that I love as much or more ~ Daniel Smith being my favorite. I am also on the lookout for my favorite brushes ~ the silver black velvet line. Good luck shopping! I got some of my Christmas shopping done! 👏👏👏👏👏

FYI with honey based watercolors remaining tacky, another You Tuber suggested leaving the palette atop electronic devices (for example Cable box, game console etc) & they would dry hard in a day or two. I tried this with my new Mission Gold palette &after 4 days of being tacky, they dried hard in 24 hours. It might be worth a try!

I don't plan on fattening Bezos pockets... well maybe lol...nothing of what I want is on sale which I guess is a good thing considering I have enough as it is. The Baohong is 140lbcp for BOTH lines and they're both absolutely amazing! I wish those would go on sale but I found a lovely Etsy Seller who has all their products for good prices!

I was really hoping yhe individual Etchr sketchbooks would go on sale, but sadly it doesn't look like it. Prime day has never worked out for me, the things I want never go on sale. Oh well, still fun to see your favorite products, those travel brushes are super cool too!

I'd bought plenty before Prime Day this year; in Australia, End of Financial Year is June 30th, so July is always a tight month, eek! 😬 At least I can enjoy watching your video, and I like all of the ideas you put forward. Hi Miranda, the light pad is on sale as a prime day sale so I just bought it. I also got the travel brushes as they too were a prime day sale. I ended up buying some Himi gouache, because I've always wanted to try it, and some Arteza matte acrylic to compare to the acrylic gouache I have. I couldn't find any videos comparing them when I was trying to decide if I wanted them, so, I guess it's up to me to make one!! I also bought a snowball mic, to finally start upgrading my channel. Yay!! Good thing I had already ordered before I watched this, or I probably would have ended up buying even more. 😅

Hahaha, yes! I actually skipped watching a few videos over the last few days because I didn't want to be tempted to buy anything, and skipped another one this morning. But I did buy a few more of those Fuumuui travel brushes for gifts for people and a new paper to try. Enjoy your gouache and acrylic! I'm sure I'll see it on your channel soon. I did watch your 45-minute video, but I had it downloaded and watched it while I was camping, so I don't think I was ever able to comment on it - maybe I did, but I just wanted you to know that your artwork was really fun to watch.

i'm so glad you love baohong too! :D i've used academy as well as artist. you can find both artist and academy come in 300gsm (140lb). the blocks, like the one you have shown here, are most popular and easily accessible. they also sell packs of loose sheets... and... blocks of 200gsm(90lb) but that's a lot harder to find. so fun to watch you be so joyful about the pack of washi tape :D ahhh, thanks for the vid~ wish we had amazon and prime day here but eh, it's ok. still entertaining to watch stuff about america though 😆

Working hard to restrain myself. The big Westcott ruler is fantastic-definitely made swatching charts so much easier!I got 2 pans of the artist grade Rosa-the violet you have & PBr25 (Kim's fault again) & they stay wet here too. So not a paint grade problem-just the paints themselves. I need a puppy or kitten-better than prescription drugs.

I was looking for the Paul Rubens watercolour set in the emerald box for some months, but couldn't find them on the German Amazon or other sites. After looking again after I watched your video I was lucky. I don't know if it was a good deal for 45€ with the discount already applied, but the box is so pretty alone, I had to order it.

I find it sooooo hard to find suitable paper for watercolors I've tried several kinds but simply non of them was "the best". I hope I could figure that out and find what suits me just like you❤️

I'll have another paper test coming up on my channel in several weeks. Hopefully that'll help some people narrow down the choices. The difficulty is that everyone paints differently, so our paper needs are all so varied.

Not sure if it was a Prime Day deal but I got some airtight 16 well pallets for $10+ versus $14+ they were the day before. I bought the kind people are using for gouache. They do come with collapsible cups but I didn't need any more and the ones without were cheaper. Second the endorsement on the ceramic palette. Size is so handy.

Double checked. I bought Transon Paint Saver AND it was a Prime Day Deal. As mentioned before, this model didn't come with collapsible cup. They're $10.39 during sale.
