For the bag with your 365 days of art, look for the 2 colors in 1 pencils. That way you have double the colors with half the space. That is what I do

I haven't seen the silicone brush tool for smaller than 1", so please share if you find one that is. If you have the silicone nail art tools, there is a flat one that usually comes in a set that is probably about 1/4" that might fit the bill.

The markers and the coloring book look awesome and fun. I do like markers. Sometimes I use them in adult coloring books. The word or name Pupe was a made up my mom used for us in place of the word fart, because fart was considered a swear in our house. We pronounced it like puke only with a p. And so in stores if we said "Mom (in a whiny tone) David puped! then she didn't get embarrassed because nobody else around knew what that word meant.

Hi Miranda, When you receive gift money and/or cards you can spend it on whatever you want! There are exceptions to no buys and that is one of them. At least in my opinion. And not only that, but you get to make the rules for your own no buy. Because there are no hard and fast rules considering no buys. 😊 I ordered the Chloe Rose book that you showed I used to watch her all the time several years ago along with Jazza, Super Rae Dizzle, Mira Byler and more. I am glad Chloe has a book out. And I just bought it. 😊 I am also trying to reorganize my art room. It is small. But it should be good for one person. Nice presents you got! I once got a tube of Qor with a hole in it too, I think it was from Jerry's, in a big order I made. But the funny thing is they included 2 tubes of that color in my order, one with no hole. I think maybe they noticed the hole and threw another in the box? Or it was a lucky mistake. I did tape it up and I *think* it's still ok. Irit Landgraf LOVES those silicone "brushes," and yes she just wipes them off (she hates to clean up lol!) I'm not sure they make smaller ones, but you might find some silicone nail tools or clay tools that will do the same job.

I was curious about aquatone too! I didnt review Roman Szmall, i only have 2 pans. I missed the boat and now i dont want to pay the higher price (because i know they sold them for way less and apparently can, 😅)

I tried aquatone last year. They are surprisingly good quality and vibrant, definitely worth the money. The only exception for me personally was raw umber as i paint wildlife so use earth tones a lot so raw umber had a low tinting strength than I am used to rest all the colours I ordered were fabulous.

Oh this was so very fun to watch! So many goodies 😍 I think it’s completely valid to use your Christmas money to purchase art supplies! To me it doesn’t go against the no buy because the person could have handed you items but gave you the money instead…. I cannot wait to hear about the Aquatone warercolors! I was looking into them a couple months ago but didn’t want to buy without more info. Was the shipping cost high?

Miranda, I actually have that a bag I love it so much I did have to get one on wheels. Sorry for myself just because I’m a chronic pain sufferer and it would get too heavy however you can get ones that don’t cost as much because they don’t have the Art word in front of them. They are actually originally a tool carrier the handyman and they do have them on Temu. If you are interested for a fraction of the cost and from my research they are the same thing it is a white label brand, however, mine did come from a really well known brand. It cost about $40 Australian maybe a little bit more so half of that for the US and mine was under a handyman tall carry bag and it’s so awesome you’re gonna love it

Hullo Miranda, I have used the smaller silicone tools with my soft pastels so they are abundantly available and buy quality it does make a difference! I am excited for you and all of your goodies! You have many generous friends! I have loved my experience with Schmincke Aqua drops! I have seen some Indian brands of art supplies and some have better quality than others, I hope this works out best for you! Enjoy your trip!

I would have bought some Woodies, they look like one of those "fun things" to play with...and lots of mixed media artists use them and say good things about them...but I think they're kind of pricey for what they are. But I STILL thought I'd give a small set a go.?Then I watched Lindsay, the Frugal Crafter, open one up to see how long the color core is. From my memory, it was like 2/3 of the length of the outer wood shaft. That Lindsay, she really went and spoiled it for me. 😢 No just kidding. I'm sure they're good for a variety of art fun...but I rarely even see them on sale. But I sure hope you hope you enjoy yours! 😉

Hi, MIranda! What lot of goodies! It's so heart-ful when friends care enough to buy for us. Hope the trip goes well and you stay safe (no mad dash escapes from wild fires like last year or other scary stuff!). I'm curious about what you choose to take with you this time, and how much you get to use it and what you do. The Aquatone is an interesting investment, and a real surprise and treat that it's from India, and not one of the endless lines spewed to flood the market frrom China all the time. It was good to hear you speak of Tori, this video and last, as I can't remember the last time you spoke of her (the raspberries, I think?) and I was wondering recently how she is, with the snow arriving and her work. I like it (a lot!) that you encourage your students to paint big! It's so often the case that the default is 'small' for so many, as they're scared of 'wasting' / spending so much on themselves with the larger paper / better equipment. And then, given the chance in a safe environment to use them, discovering for themselves the value and the joy of using bigger and better... Lucky you! Lots of fun supplies for the new year. I really enjoy the Shinhan gouache. I dried it in pans (with a drop of glycerin), and it re-wets so well!

My sweet little 21-month-old Chow, Winter Snow, had 4 beautiful little gremlins in late October and was sadly killed a week before Christmas. That was fun to watch. I am sorry I missed out these last several months on watching art videos. But, I just didn't have the energy. And now that I am losing weight I do. I am having fun with my tiny art room. Well, it is mostly an art room. Those paints are cool. I do think sennelier should change their watercolor paint lids on their tube paints.

Hi Miranda, I am glad you had a great trip this past summer. It sounds like you had a lot of fun going by your watercolor book. I already forgot the name of the book. My bad. But the mini paintings and showcase of colors look fun. I have been having fun trying to organize my art room. It is a small room, and I have a lot of stuff! So we'll see what happens. Or I will see it. Today I am going to Spokane for a weight-loss seminar. Fortunately, I found someone to drive me because it is a long drive! Take care.
