I bought a Tgaal sharpener a couple years ago on Amazon and I guess I got a faulty one, as the dial doesn't change the pencil sharpness. It's exactly the same regardless of number. It's annoying as I probably realised too late and never got a refund.

Aghhh how annoying! They do seem to be a bit hit and miss. And admittedly they don’t last as long as the desktop sharpeners. I mostly use my Dahle 133 unless I want a specific point

I am unable to get artristro white pen.. But i have derwant inktense, chromaflow, prisma color, and polychromos and i prefer Polychromos more.. Ohuhu alcohoo markers for sure.. And brustro papers of different ranges.. I use these and have other things too but hard to name all

Prismacolor are affordable now?!? When I priced them ages ago they were $1.50 a piece, maybe I need to look now, I love how soft they are

A lot depends on location. They are far more affordable in the USA than Australia, for example. And more affordable than other quality pencils, but not as cheap as many of the budget alternatives.

@@SarahRenaeClark it was literal ages ago, I was maybe 19, I'm 43 now lol a box of 10-12 pieces was almost $17-18, now they are $40 for a giant 4 layer box of every color imaginable now, online

I’d argue that Faber Castell are on par with Prismas, they may not have the creaminess that prismas have (which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, as prismas have always had a reputation for breaking & wearing down quickly - although beautiful pencils to work with), but they’re still stunning pencils with fantastic durability & artist quality (& it’s often a comparison between the two). Not sure I’d say they’re affordable though even in the price range, but certainly a lovely pencil never the less! :)

Idea for content! Please please please help a girl out. I love spending time coloring and try to take breaks while doing so, but between leaning over a desk causing neck pain and arthritis from the hand positioning, I feel like I'm coming up on 90 and I'm only in my 30s! You spend hours on this stuff, how do you avoid pain and discomfort?!

For ref I live in Northern Ireland, there was expensive imports of neenah cardstock for the UK but still won't ship to me in NI(£30 on amazon that wont ship, £30 on some sites ive never heard off + £20 delivery), prismas are £200(full set), as I said ohuhu won't send alcohol markers to me (I ended up getting touchnew markers from aliexpress, similar colors but skinnier markers). My journey for affordable decent art products is near always hindered by "this product will not ship to your location" 😅

Everyone says that ohuhu idk how to spell it but they say they are the best and have a good range of colours and I've used my friends ones before and yeah they are nice and they have a whole skintone bunch of them but have y'all tried the twinmarker alcohol markers ? They are super cheap and work pretty well with a good colour range . The only thing is that they don't have a whole skintone set but they do have some skintones in other colour packs and yes that have browns and in-between colours :)

I love Neenah paper! I was introduced to it for a class final project to make fake business logo, cards, and letters with any Neenah paper. If you request for a sample, they’ll send you big sheets of paper to work with. I love it!

I love my Ohuhu markers, but i absolutely won't say no if someone wants to spend a gagillion dollars on me and gift me a full set of Copic 🤣 I love my Prismacolor pencils and art markers. And for crayons...I'm all about the Crayola box of 152 with sharpener. 😂

Yes. I love both the Prismacolor and the Luminance. They feel so divine to use. Even though I don't reach for the as often, I also love my Polychromos pencils. Using them is just a very different experience.

Alcohol markers are never going to be perfectly lightfast.

Yeah I have a few pricer brands of color pencils but I keep picking up Prismacolor, I have Copics and they are great staple markers but I love Ohuhu affordable brush markers, I have not tried the white Artistro paint pen yet but I'm familiar with other Artistro products, I'll check out the white pen as soon as I can thanks! ❤
