I have not finished the video so you may mention this!! But you can touch the tips of water based markers to create a temporary gradient.

Been doing photography, specifically wildlife with a spritz of nature/landscapes mixed in for a couple of years now. I'm always trying to learn more and think about things from other angles and perspectives to improve my work, and this video just blew my mind. Obviously it can be a bit tougher to incorporate specific colors into every photo than it is for an artist to just make another color on their wheel, but I still took a lot away from such a short and concise video. Now that it's spring, I've been focusing a lot more on getting a nice array of colors in my images to improve the dynamic range of them, which makes them more visually appealing most of the time. Going to be coming back to this one a number of times to refresh on it.

You seem to know your pencils - and colors. I e search high and low for info on sealing (not by a kiln) prismacolor pencils on porous surfaces. Can YOU make a vise on this subject? I'm drawing on finished tiles and seashells. There is ZERO info about sealants that are relevant specifically to Prismacolor. Please help, no one has done this - that I can find.

What a wonderful tool 😍 why am I only finding out now? 😭 I can't imagine the hours of work that must have taken you. Do you think you will integrate the Brutfuner 520 in the future? This huge choice of pencils is ultimately a hindrance for me, I waste a lot of time choosing colors and their harmonies and ultimately I almost never use this range and that's a shame. Thanks for the response 🙏🏼✨

You may already know this. Just in case you don’t, Copic has an app. It keeps what markers you own organized, All you do is add what markers you own. It has saved me more than once buying the same color………*in and out burgers are the BEST!!!!!!!

Honestly I prefer my Pablo. For me all that matters is blending and layering as well as color intensity which it appears that the Pablo are better for that. I do not own luminance though.

Cross hatching also works because you can start out with a hard barrier between the two colors but as you add more hatching you can add more of the color you need in a particular spot without having to worry too much about the amount of pressure applied, and it can add a bit of texture to your gradients if you want something that isnt as flat or smooth
