Not nerf the Pantera mobility slightly Droodles. It is actually a huge nerf. Pantera back then is literally a Light Tank on a Panther Size. It fast and reliable and actually out class Progetto 46 and Panther II combine, back in the day (Back then Panther II still have that 80mm of frontal Armor). Because of Pantera being too good and too much fun for a tech tree vehicle, plus it out class a Premium Tank. WG nerf it into the ground. Now it actually lost 25% of its overall Mobility for extra weight. Which I never see Pantera as a ram tank like Panther. I miss the pre nerf Pantera where you can around accross the map and keep using AR abuse at everyone. For those who curious about Pantera pre nerf. Pantera on release, have 1,200 HP engine. Yep, a 1,200 HP engine. Literally a race car. You don’t felt sluggish at all you just flew off at the start of the game. Now it only do 990 which ruins its mobility quite a lot. Losing 210 HP is huge btw

exactly, back when it was new it was almost as fast or dare I say even faster than the CDC, which was the fastest tier 8 medium back then. It was amazing back then, now it's still very good but nowhere near as it used to be

@@A_Crying_NSX It actually have the same max speed as the prenerf one. But back then it has insane acceleration rate than any other tank ever existed. It used to have 1.2K HP engine.

I believe progetto just performs better but lacks the upper hand on t9s. However standard B's small gun with autoloader damn. That's one of the best experiences you'll have if you know where to shoot how to shoot.

I JUST finished the XP grind on the Progetto 65. Just gotta wait a decade to get enough credits to buy it. This game gives insufficient credits to buy tanks. Grinding XP is easy AF, but the credit grind ? NOT good. Although yeah, I love the whole autoloader Italiano line.

Back then, Progetto 46 is actually worse than Pantera when it was first introduced in the game due to Pantera has better acceleration due to 1.2K HP engine. Which is a balance considering that Pantera is fast and nimble AR while 46 doing slightly more alpha while having slightly better AR system. But ofcorse 46 is a premium and buffing them would be too much to ask for so WG use nerf hammer on Pantera.

I am currently grinding for proggeto and really struggling with tier VII ter tank, good to know that next tank in line is good

@@johnnya994 Pantera is good in the current meta although not as a god tier as it once was. Back then it used to have by far the fastest Panther, both Max Speed and Acceleration (Due to 1,200HP engine), in the game. Insane mobility with insane turning add on with good AR. And the only downside is it only has Panther Armor. When I said Panther armor I mean Panther historical armor, the same armor as Pudel Panther, or even worse. It used to be my fav Tier VIII medium. Now, it a shadow on what it used to be. No, I don’t like the armor as I see Pantera as a Fast tank not an armored tank.

Different tier, the Standard B is a tier 9. This is his favorite tier 8.

When they go back and add PBR (Physically Based Rendering) to a tank, what they are doing is upgrading the graphics quality of the tank. They make the tank skin less pixelated and make it in HD (High Definition). So instead of looking fuzzy, it will be more clear and smooth.

IIRC, the nerf was a result of converting the tank to PBR. The armor design on most PBRs is slightly different, so sometimes they do slight modifications on other aspects of the tank.
