i thought i’m the only one doing that 😂😂 the thing is, if you have a good one coat black it’s base, one coat black and maybe tc (but if you don’t have time you don’t need it either) and go. It’s the quickest mani for me and always appropriate, so i wear tons of black haha

I have zero shame when it comes to wearing black in the spring! A lot of times I do a nail or two in black with my bright spring colors, and top coat it with something that matches sometimes I just leave it black. I can’t help it I love my blacks.

Wow, that top coat really makes that leopard spots top coat work. I used to think black was such a terrible idea until I wore it for Halloween one year. Super pale with black polish? Oh yeah!

I LOVE crackle nail polish! I grabbed a bunch on clearance and I use 'em! I would add Cirque Alter Ego, Zoya Dahlia (PixieDust) and Blackheart Beauty Midnight Galaxy. Do I get points for having a Hot Topic polish pick?! I think the silver version of the Zoya polish is Loredana and that one is sooo beautiful!

Love your picks, I even have some of them. 😋 Just an FYI you can swap out the brushes of the specialty Zoyas and keep the special caps. I think I got that tip from Cork Manicures channel. You can pull the old brush out and then use the cap with the z-wide brush.

Oh my gosh, I love "Coal Hands Warm Heart"! It's such a sparkly and fun polish ♥ On the topic of crackle finish polishes, I recently discovered that Pure Ice had a collection of unusual crackle finish polishes called "Vinyl Remix" that were meant to be worn over a white base and the crackle polish would tint the white a color...I'd never heard of them but found them on eBay. So thought I'd share. The listing is called "Cheap Nail Polish" with a bunch of brands listed 😊

I loved this video! I'm a sucker for holo! I used only gel polish for many years, but I'm getting back into regular polish, just for the speed/ease of application and removal. I want to get smoky quartz when it gets back in stock. The brownish tone is a plus for me. I love warm tones and I think they go really well with my skin tone.

Those were all really nice. My favorite out of those was Neutrino which I end up wearing all the time when I can't think of any other manicure. You should check out Nine Zero's Cauldron Fire though, I don't know if it is still available anymore but it was a really nice black with orange glitters. Looks like fire in the right lighting, you do need a good glitter eating topcoat though.

I love crackle too! I still have 1 black & a metallic silver, sally hansen had them out like 6/7 years ago I think. I feel like it was around 2012-3. Still makes me go wow when it dries how it does. I love that broken marbled look.

I’ve got Dunkies 2 blocks from my house, and I’m addicted! I’m all about iced coffee, dark roast with cream and 2 pumps of whatever sweetened flavor I’m feeling. Ours has a drive thru, so I get it once a week or so. Cheaper and usually better than Starbucks. I’m sure crackles will come back, even though I was never a fan. I tried them, and just never got into them. I wonder if the crackle coats could be made with glitter/holo/sparkles? I’d probably give it another try then. This was a fun video, it makes me want to invest in some black sparkle polish!!

So many things to say about this video! 1. You had two collabs with Starrily? I thought it was one. Either way, I want all of your collab polishes. 2. All of these polishes are stunning. I forgot about the Zoya matte velvet. They have my heart but I haven't ordered any cause I'm poor, lol. 3. I forgot about crackle! I miss it so much. When you did yours, I got an idea of how... is it Starrily Magma? Whichever red polish. And put that under the black crackle so it looks like lava breaking through. It would be so cool! 4. Your hair looks like it's like four different colors of purple and I'm here for it. 😍 And I don't know if I can even pick a fab out of these. They are definitely all amazing.

If u still have your old bottles of crackle, you can revive them with some nail polish thinner. One of the things that justifies nail polish connecting as s hobby is the fact that it never goes bad, unlike other makeup. Lucky for me, cuz I have enough to wear a different one every day until I'm in my 80s! (1,000+)

Shoutout to your makeup and the outfit. You're looking like you're going to visit a black wizard school. I'm absolutely in love with it ❤. Here it's not so easy to get shimmer or glitter nail polishes. The only one I know by far is Essie "haute tub" and sadly the violett shimmer flakes disappear when you put it on. Fir some reason glitter polishes are just pink, blue, purple and very rarely you see a green, especially on Halloween.
