Sissssss! When I first peeped out Brandon Blackwood I had NO IDEA that he was a BLACK Designer Hunny! I saw his bag on the SATC reboot "And just like that" and I kept freezing the shot and zooming in with my cellphone until I found out who that gorgeous bag was by! When I opened his website and saw the COLOURS I was in LOVE!! Thank you so much for sharing these wonderful designers and btw, I LOVE the sweater you are wearing... I been stalking it online waiting for the color I want to go on sale! Keep the wonderful, fun, colorful content coming :-)

Another Black owned brand that I'm loving right now is Andrea Iyamah. Her resort wear is gorgeous and is sold on her website as well as Nordstrom and Saks I believe. Her swimwear is art! Others are Mille Collines and Tenicka B always speaks of this Ghanaian designer whose name starts with a "D" and her resort wear pieces are amazing also!

Loved this video. One black handbag designer that is on my radar is Anima Iris! Her handbags are beautiful! One thing I will say to black designers is to keep their stock up because we move on when we go to the site and everything is sold out! NEXT!!!

I used to live up the street from the McMullen store and it’s beautiful! I didn’t know it was black owned initially but you realize very quickly because she has amazing portraits of her family mounted. Either way it’s an absolutely Bay Area luxury must!

Listen, Brandon Blackwood’s Kuei bags have me in a chokehold, specifically the medium and large ones. I have two and have about three more on my wish list. I started with the ESR bags and it’s been a love affair ever since. I feel you with Christopher John Rogers. I had to have a piece of anything he made so I hightailed it to Target for his collection. I had a friend in Delaware go to her Target and mail me a dress, I was just that pressed. Free Maiden is on my list. I just love that oversized charm bracelet.
