It really doesn't matter how much exercise you do, old age will eventually take its toll. I am 83 years old. I would walk 3 to 5 miles a day and go to the gym 3 times a week for strength training until age 81. But in the last 2 years lung nodules and hip arthritis have reduced me to a mostly sedentary existence attempting as much exercise as possible. But good luck with your active life style and hope you have results that differ from mine

I suppose the title of Rob's book just didn't flip my switch, but we all know he would be the last person to write brainless stuff like those "Ten Stocks You Must Own," or "Gold to the Moon" type articles or books. Well, since I've seen virtually every video he's done, I thought I should check out his book. I consider it one of the top titles for basic investing. He lays out the numbers in such a common sense manner. Along with J.L. Collins' "The Simple Path to Wealth," Rob's book is one I will definitely give my grandson. He's only seven now, so maybe I should wait until he's at least eight and can fully fathom Rob's wisdom. :-) I plead guilty as charged to having become a "fanboy" of Rob Berger, so I am especially glad to discover after all these months that even his book is a bit of a jewel, too. So much of KZbin is marketing hype and hyperbole. Fortunately, there are some "normal" people online, as well.

My small cap value funds have been much more volatile than the market (aka more risky). This comforts me, as it assures me the small cap and value premia “SHOULD” persist. Investors will demand a larger discount rate on future profits for riskier investments. Discount rate is synonymous with expected return. If the day comes that SCV does not experience greater volatility and deeper drawdowns than the market, I will question future outperformance.

Chin ups are actually quite difficult, even when you’re young. Most people can’t do them.

If you look at S&P 500 return by month since 1945 the worst two months are February and Sept. Those are the months I fill up my Roth IRA’s

Decent book. Quite long-winded. The basics are pretty easy to understand.
