Welcome back! My top favorites of the year were The Law of Moses by Amy Harmon and The Butterfly Project by Emma Scott. TLOM made me think differently about the afterlife and is quite emotional, layered. TBP is sweet, about chaos theory & forgiveness. Other ones right below them are All In (Full Tilt duet 2) by Emma Scott, Love & Gelato by Jenna Evans Welch (YA), & It Starts With Us. I've had Micaela Smeltzer's The Other Side of Tomorrow on my Kindle for years. Never read anything by her, hopefully will get to this soon. And have you read any of Colleen's books from last couple years? Or Too Late? I read that one when it was written chapter by chapter, it was maybe even heavier and more stressful than Verity. Love both though.

totally agree about Priest (S. Simone). Even Sinner and Saint were disappointing reads for me- totally hyped up in my opinion. Praise was also just ok if compared to the 3 others book which I ended up liking more in SPC series but as a standalone its (Praise) not bad.

I also was starting to think I was the only one who didn't like Priest because of how much booktok recommended it😭 I was looking for a more 'taboo' romance and found the Original Sinners series by Tiffany Reisz SO SO SO much better to a point where it has become one of my favourite series of all time (I read book 5 a literal 64 times...💀), I would love to hear your thoughts on it if you've read it :) !!! Again, so glad you're back and I'm looking forward to future videos
