I read Change of Heart after watching your review years ago. It really is so good! It’s one of my favorites too and so underrated. I never would have read it if it wasn’t for your recommendation. I need to do a reread now.

I'm reading Bound By Honor by Cora Reilly for the first time. For someone who is not a fan of the mafia genre as a whole, I'm actually really enjoying it.

Some of my favorites (in fact, over 50 of them) have been in the Murder, She Wrote expanded universe series of novels "written" by Jessica Fletcher (main character of a CBS mystery series by that name that was on Sundays when I was a boy), and credited to Donald Bain, Jon Land et al.; the reason why these have appealed to me as much as they have is because Jessica is still the same active senior-citizen mystery writer from Cabot Cove, ME as she was portrayed in that CBS mystery series, solving murder mysteries not just in her hometown, but across America and around the world (she's been to Moscow, Paris, London, Washington, D.C., San Francisco, Chicago-- just about everywhere).

I'm going to add Change of Heart to my tbr. It sounds like something I'd really enjoy. I need to reread Marriage for One! My gosh it's been like 3 years since I've read it. I want to reread so many books but it's hard when you have so many new ones you want to read too. Oh the struggles 😂

What are your general feelings about the two Lolita movies? I like both for what they are, but also realizing the book is almost impossible to adapt!!!

I've only seen the 1997 version and it was alright, not something I'd rewatch or recommend tbh. I definitely prefer the book!

If you like both romance and historical fiction, then try Kristin Lavransdatter by Sigrid Undset. This is easily my favourite novel, head and shoulders above the rest. There are two English translations, both very good. Read either of them, or maybe both.
