As a Bengals fan, that OT TD from Tebow to DT gives me such joy every time I watch it. My favorite Broncos moment: Elway's helicopter lunge vs Green Bay in Super Bowl XXXII. The man was not going to be denied. My 2nd favorite Broncos moment: Denver beating Oakland in the 1977 AFC Championship Game. Broncos' 1st great season.

I remember ALOT of these plays. I was in the USMC 97-01. I joined the Broncos fans in 96. I like the logo. They paid for our cycle to go to Qualcomm Stadium. I WAS LOSING MY MIND!!! Watchin em beat my moms team on the grandest stage, then to beat the Falcons to take back to backs. I knew I made a good choice. Continue to be Bronco Faithful. Thank you!!!!🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

Oh boy, that Rod Smith TD brings back memories. I was working at a restaurant and had the closing shift. I set my VCR to record the game and somehow made through the whole shift without someone ruining it for me by telling me the score. I got home after midnight and watched the game. I did not set the VCR record time long enough and it cut off just before that play. There really wasn't any Internet in 1995 so I could not look up what happened. It was about 2:00 in the morning so I couldn't call anyone. I had to wait for the Monday morning paper to show up to find how what happened.

7:08 The Tebow game was the first time I ever saw Denver in the playoffs; I started watching in 2007. I grew up in Florida in a time where Tim Tebow was the patron saint of football. Watching him come to Denver was a dream come true. My earliest fond memory as a fan was my dad and I going crazy over the throw to DT. Now that DT is with the good Lord now, it makes me cry almost every time I revisit the memory. God bless the Broncos.

Dennis Smith's fumble return in week 10 vs New England in 1984 was one of my favorite memories. All the talk that year was Dan Marino and the Dolphins but Denver moved to 9-1 after that game...eventually going to 11-1. 1984 was a great year.

Champ Bailey was awesome but Louis Wright is the best corner I've ever seen in the NFL. And I'm 69 years old and grew up with the Lombardi Packers in wisconsin in the 60's. He should be in the Hall of Fame.

I will never forget the Thomas TD against the Steelers in the Playoffs. Parents let me stay up late for OT just got go to bed right away😂 atleast I went to bed happy!! Go Broncos!!

I've been a fan of this team since '76, and yes, all things are cyclical. The SB-L win was tremendous, but after that... ugh, just like all of the 60s were for this team. Nonetheless, the history of this team is bejeweled with some of the most dramatic wins in NFL history. I have no idea what Sean P can do with this franchise, but it can't be any worse that what has transpired since winning it all in '15 and then it just came apart afterwards. Who knows, Sean P's penchant to build a physical team could be just what the doctor ordered.

Tebow's 316 game was nothing short of a miracle from God. 316 passing yards - most vs the #1 defense all season, Tebow averaged 31.6 yards per pass, the Steelers time of possession was 31:06. When the games ratings peaked it had a rating of 31.6. Roethlisberger threw the only interception of the game on 3rd and 16 that led to crucial points. The most Googled search during the game was John 3:16 - 94 million searched it. EXACTLY 3 years earlier Tebow had John 3:16 written in his face paint for the BCS championship game. For those who do not know, the Bible verse John 3:16 tells you how to be saved through Jesus.

What an absolutely beautiful throw by Tebow to Thomas. I wish we woulda had him train under Manning, then maybe we wouldn't have had all of these years of mediocracy. Plus, I've never seen that Al Wilson hit; that was _mental._ Really reminds me of the Steve Atwater hit on Okoye.

Can’t teach a 20something how to throw a football, I don’t care who you are. TEBOW couldn’t throw! That windup was ridiculous! Look my sister made a few good throws in our backyard when we were kids, doesn’t mean I’d want her as my QB.

@@briannelson6830 What? A windup is ridiculously coachable. Do you think all QBs are born with the knowledge of how to properly throw the ball? Of course not; they're all coached. Tebow could've made it; he needed time to develop which nobody gave him. Over time, his windup was looking a lot better. I also don't understand the "he couldn't throw"? Accuracy is also incredibly coachable; Josh Allen had accuracy issues when he was drafted, and now look at him. Tebow, again, could've been great given the right coaching, but he wasn't, which is why I'm saying if he trained under Manning, he would have definitely improved ten fold. Anybody can learn anything at any age. Might it be more difficult? Yes, habits are harder to break at age 19+, but it's still very possible.

What came out after Tebow was out of football, from the Broncos, Jets, and Patriots, was Tebow didn't want to relearn how to throw. He didn't see a problem with his windup or his inaccuracy. He certainly didn't want to change positions or sit behind someone to learn (Rex Ryan didn't want Tebow in the first place but got him because ownership did want him). Tebow didn't help himself with Ryan when he did several interviews and talked about how coming to the Jets meant "I get to be me and do what I do best." Ryan, who had reportedly made it clear to Tebow that he would spend most of his time "learning how to be a quarterback in the NFL," took this as Tebow's attempt to interdict Ryan's plan and get the fans behind him. Whether Ryan was right or wrong about that, we don't know. Champ Bailey said after Tebow was traded that he liked Tebow, but Tebow didn't understand that the NFL wasn't the SEC. Tebow thought the Broncos should play an offense like Florida (which Mike McCoy pretty much did) instead of him adapting to the NFL. The expectations the Patriots had for him was as a 3rd string quarterback, he would work on improving his skills and accept any role that could help the team win. Belichick didn't see it, so back to the waiver wire Tebow went. Tebow had, I think, a 46% completion percentage as a Bronco. The fact is, it should've been lower. DT, Decker, Caldwell, those guys caught so many ugly passes from him that many other guys would've dropped.

His motion was significantly better by the time he was on the Patriots, but anytime he went into games he just went back to habit. Also, I really think an offense _should_ revolve around how a quarterback best plays; that's part of why Tebow did pretty well all things considered in Denver. Plus, as I said, if he was training behind Manning he'd be better. There is no chance Tebow wouldn't take Manning's advice. Look, if I'm wrong about Tebow not being willing to fix his windup, I'll concede, but I don't think I am. If I remember correctly I saw a few Broncos practices of Tebow on KZbin and he was working on his throwing motion in them. Edit: Alright, I concede the point that he looked better by the time he was on the Patriots... he didn't really lol. His arm motion was still wrong, but maybe I'm just tripping but his footwork looked a little better but still. Either way I think my other point still stands that I'm sure given the right coaching, he'd be a menace... I just don't think he got that, especially since apparently his old coach was Urban Meyers.

Instead, based on video evidence, which you can find all over KZbin, Tebow was incapable of relearning how to throw or even being consistent in how he threw. His mechanics were dreadful in Denver and remained so throughout his time in the NFL. Even post-Patriots release, when he held his "not a tryout" for anyone that wanted to show up after spending four months, more or less, working with a QB 'GURU' you could take a video of his mechanics and paste them over footage of him in Denver and nothing had changed. He still dropped the ball around his thighs, wound up, ball behind ear, and failed to be consistent with the location of his passes. Further emphasis of this inability is his return to the NFL with the Jaguars- as a tight end. That was under his beloved head coach Urban Meyer. I am in no way doubting his enthusiasm, drive, or work ethic. I am saying Tebow would have never been able to become a valid quarterback option in the NFL.

Alas, such special distinctions are reserved for those who play hard _all_ of the time, not just _some_ of the time. Bailey's got no one to blame but himself. Had he hustled the whole way (like Benjamin Watson did) he would've scored. I guess he had better things to do.
