The amount of fun I've had with this build this season is unmatched when compared to others. Zooming around the map, spreading poison everywhere, and having some of the best DPS in the game feels incredible! Had a ton of fun putting together another build video for you all and I can't wait to do more in The Final Shape.

I did the same with LightFall expecting we would get more use out of strand. I hope we get to use prismatic through the campaign vs just those stupid conversion points.

The devs said that you get real access to prismatic in the first mission, and you get more fragments and aspects as you progress

Awesome video as always! Would you mind showing your keybinds? I need to figure a good way to bind mainly my melees charged and uncharged and grenade and super.

Thank you! My keybinds for those are melee = mouse button 4 / grenade = mouse button 5 / uncharged melee = B / super = Q if you anything else just lmk! I have some pretty weird ones compared to most lol

Lol. This is the same thing I'm taking. Although, I've just been using this with Rewind Rounds Outbreak and hoo boy, might use that over Thorn.

I dont think outbreak proc's the necrotic grips poison though, only thorn, osteo, touch of malice and necrochasm

I’ve been using this build a lot too! Sadly, the nerf to Thread of Warding is gonna really hurt it in The Final Shape, but I’m going to try to make a Prismatic version of this build that may be more survivable.

It should be better on Prismatic purely due to Devour. But also because you get access to Necrotics and another exotic’s perk on the class ability. Massive power creep.

@@yadeel8281 Yeah idk what this guy is smoking. The only potential "nerf" here is that Spirit of Necrotics likely won't synergize with weapons of sorrow as it specifically calls out melee attacks unlike the full exotic perk which mentions weapons of sorrow. But that's just balance so that you don't have any reason to run the full exotic. Besides, it just means you have to run Monte Carlo instead of Thorn, which really isn't that big of a deal in exchange for another exotic perk.

I mean, we know that pretty much most of the campaign, we'll have to use prismatic since there will be enemies that can only be damaged by prismatic. So not sure what the point of these og subclass builds are.

@@whiterose2321 nope you're the dumbass. Just read any article. While you might play a bit of the campaign at the start with your original subclass, one you get your starter kit, you'll be using prismatic for most of the campaign. Why would you keep switching between prismatic and another subclass when you have no idea when you'll come across one of those special shielded enemies? I like the build in this video here but it won't play a huge part in the campaign since Bungie is forcing us to use prismatic for most of it.
