As an architect who has watched countless hours of architecture content on KZbin I must say this was better than most. I'm not sure I could have described these spaces better and its my actual profession 😅Please do more of these!

The Architecture of the Building and the Apartment is just stunning 😍.... the interior design could of been alittle bit more sophisticated.....
@RubmaLione9 ай бұрын
The interior decorators for this project utterly failed. This level of design is something to expect for a mid-range luxury apartment, not one of the most coveted units in the only Zaha Hadid building in NYC. They should have consulted ZHA (Zaha Hadid Architects) to stage this unit, it's just that disappointing. Justin, you toured this wonderfully, better than most popular brokers on social media. You really focused on the experience, high quality materials, and unique ZHA touches that you won't find in any other apartment in the city. Perhaps they should invite you to redesign this show unit.

Yep. Feels like a staging storage unit threw up...

The interior decoration is just wrong for the entire space. The plastic chairs were particularly insulting.
@everythinggoes8509 ай бұрын
The interior designer really took the "gallery" aspect of the building as literal. It really looks likes an art gallery than a home.
@VollPfostenKlopfer9 ай бұрын
In addition to the plastic kartell chairs, one should definitely mention that every single window was super dirty! Even the ones that are easy to clean. I think cleanliness is a must-have for real estate or apartments in this size.
@jimjimgl39 ай бұрын
@@VollPfostenKlopfer Yes! Also, cleaning is the easiest and cheapest effort. Of course their are some who would think the interior is “cool” but I think a more sophisticated staging team could have found a more neutral design theme to be more broadly interesting.

Zaha is honest and amazing in large spaces, in cellular spaces she is rudimentary, therefore the decoration turned out to be rudimentary too.

It’s a bit weird it’s like New York City apartment meets the gulf, there are elements that are very stereotypical Chelsea apartment and elements that are very gulf and Zaha Hadid. Apartments in the gulf aren’t usually compartmentalized like this.

I didn’t know she had a condo building in New York. It’s weird it’s like a building from the gulf transplanted in nyc. Also this futuristic look is very commonplace in the gulf countries although zaha hadid was one of the pioneers of it.

It’s stylish and appealing but I was surprised how conventional the interiors are, there isn’t really an interior architecture wow factor, although I did like the bathroom and some of the subtleties. The owners have a huge living room with tons of potential but have rammed the sofa back against the wall and if you are entertaining with guests almost everybody has to sit perched on an isolated chair around the edge. To be fair, that worked in Jane Austen’s day, maybe that’s how they entertain visitors. These kitchens always look wonderful but no real cook would lay out a kitchen like that, you have to walk all around the island to get to key appliances and while it looks great on video, in reality you’d have hot pans, food boards, utensils and used dishes all out in vision of your guests, most home cooks aren’t well enough organised to keep the kitchen looking gleaming when in use.

Outstanding building but two points 1 Justin, we don't need to see you in every frame. we are here for the building not to look at the back of your head or to marvel at your presence, 2 The "interior designer" thought, let me throw in a bunch of expensive objects and furniture together and call it a day. How tacky and tasteless, money does not equate to taste.
