If you ever find the time, might you do a video showing how you do the big eyes in the Chris Ryniak monster books (around the 33 minute mark or so)? Thanks

Absolutely enjoy this video and seeing all your favorites! I have some of the same books, pencils and gel pens. I really enjoy coloring and the coloring community so much. Everyone is so kind and shows how excited they get with all things coloring and artsy stuff. lol I don't get to color as much as I want too but that's just how hobbies are sometimes. Thanks so much for sharing, and even tho I don't comment on every video I do watch and try to remember to give thumbs up because most of the time, y'all are on the tv😊 Thanks again and have a great new week💞💞💞

Awh thank you! I have to remember the same, because I watch who I follow on the TV too lol. The coloring community is an inviting place and can't think of a hobby that is shared in such a beautiful way. Everyone looking for their little peace in this world of chaos and its nice to share that little piece of our lives with those that share the same passion. I always pick more books than I can finish in a month, but it's so exciting to envision all the possibilities. Whether 1 page or many, it's nice to connect and share. Many thanks for coming along my journey and sharing your thoughts. 🤗

When you say "Glitter Mod Podge" Are you making this glitter yourself or purchasing ready made? Also what are you using to finish your pages? They are so shiny. Your work is beautiful! Thank you!
@kristinasartcorner11 ай бұрын
Thank you! Yes, some pages are finished with mod podge. I either use the matte, shiny, or glitter varieties. Other than that, if I use pan pastel, I usually use a workable fixative spray.

Hi, do you have a demo video on mod podge? Would love to know how to use it and which one(s)s to buy
@kristinasartcorner Жыл бұрын
You just use a brush and cover what area you want to! I love all the modpodge products honestly. The holographic is newest along with the gold. Brush on evenly, let dry over night and enjoy!!!
@NoDontLikeIt Жыл бұрын
There are lots of videos by others in the coloring community on how to use mod podge. Just search something like “mod podge in adult coloring” or “adult coloring mod podge”, for example.

Do the brush tip ohuoho markers fray and tatter ? I hate when brush tip markers start shredding themselves .

Just by subscribing. I also have an instagram under the same name where my tags for books that I host are there. I also provide them in my community tab on youtube if you go to my "home page" on youtube you'll see community tab. I do polls, updates and put coloring hashtags there for Tropigoth and Spooky books!

I'm in Pennsylvania, lower west end. We're not crazy far from one another. How do you like NYC?
@lhasalynn2091 Жыл бұрын
I LOVE NYC!! Was born here, then spent my childhood on Long Island, then, after college went to live and work in London for 13 years! Came back and settled on the Upper West Side---such a friendly area and only one block from Riverside Park and the Hudson River. You get to know every dog and its owner--and all the local shop people. If you stand on a corner holding a map---suddenly you will be surrounded by New Yorkers wanting to not just help you--but often escort you towards the place you're going! I alwys laugh when people say New Yorkers aren't friendly!! (My life changed horribly in May 2022, when I suddenly lost the person most precious to me--my identical twin sister, Alice, to Sepsis. She lived a few floors above me and we were always together.) The real grief never goes away--you just learn to live with it. But, when I discovered coloring a few months ago, I finally found something that not only distracted me a little--but gave me so much enjoyment. (Alice, my twin, was a very good cartoonist and we both loved art. She would have been right into the coloring world!! (Maybe she is!!!) Thanks for writing! Where in PA are you? @lhasalynn2091 I am terribly sorry for the loss of your twin sister. That must be such a visceral grief to go through. I am glad coloring has brought some joy into your life! I love New York. My dad had lost of travel in his work, so we got to stay at the Waldorf Astoria and saw shows, ate at Tavern on the Green! My favorite memory was the street cart foods, especially Italian ice, walls and Central Park was so beautiful. It left quite the impression on me as a child. I live in SW Pennsylvania now. I live in a place where many know each other and it is comforting. My mom was born in the Bronx. She lives in South Florida now with many family members there too. It's so nice to get to know more about you and where you live. If I'm ever that way, I'll be sure to message you 😉

I enjoyed IMMENSELY every minute of your Review--it was so much fun---and very instructive, I am a beginner (2 months) to coloring and have invested in many lovely recommended products, but you have given me a lot more to think about! LOL! Question: Could you please let me know how you use all those beautiful tins of watercolor (?) paint sets with those lovely metallic shades?? Are they what gives so many of your colored pages such a lovely tint and shine? ( BTW--I do have a product--not used yet called 'Folkart Extreme Glitter') Thanks again for taking so much time to show us the beautiful results that can be attained by practice and a love for coloring!! I'm so glad you liked the video. If you go to my ERIY Romantic Country, Second Tale, last video series #VI or my other World Heritage Page with the front cover blue orange and white for thumbnail, I go heavy on the metallics. That should show you how I use them! Welcome to coloring! It's such a wonderful hobby with a great community of people. I hope you will continue to enjoy my content and others. Just keep plugging along and you'll find what you like and don't like on your pages. Just have fun! Happy Coloring and thank you so much for watching my video and commenting. 🤗

Thanks so much for both your practical information and your most welcome message! I just watched the two videos and saw how you used those amazing metallic paints! They add so much beauty and dimension to a coloring page! And, to try them out, I just bought a set of 12 colors! Knowing my clumsy hands, I will probably land up painting MYSELF more than the page, at first---but it looks like a skill worth mastering! I so agree with you that the coloring community is a great source of friendship--and coloring aid! I have joined several groups ('Pamela's Passion for Coloring Pencils', 'Coloring Bliss' with Jennifer and Steve and 'Shel's Colouring Journey' and everyone is so nice and so helpful. (I tried to join Sarah Clark Renea's(?) group, but in answer to my application, where I just wrote a short blurb about why I would like to join, I kept getting these rather abrupt notes saying "Application refused--no photo". And since I have no camera or pix of myself, I will not be able to join that group. I am very sorry---I have enjoyed watching her series.) Again---thanks a million for your help. I look forward to watching and learning more. One last note--I love unusual coloring books and 'Shel' did a flipthrough of a lovely Korean book, "Forest Girl's Coloring Book', which I purchased. It is so much fun to color! Happy coloring to you, too!! Lynn in NYC @@kristinasartcorner

Oh wonderful! You'll love metallics!! They're not too messy just have a rag next to you lol. Thise are some good channels to watch for sure. I do have some Korean books that I love as well. Japanese and Korean books have great paper and are unique to what we get in the states. Enjoy your coloring and research 😊 Thank you again for your kind words and look forward to hearing from you again soon. Take Care!

@@lhasalynn2091in reference to you saying you weren’t accepted into a group because you didn’t have a photo, you don’t have to have a photo of yourself for most of the groups, anything will do, such as photo of something (like a cartoon character or a picture of some object you can take a screen shot of and upload to facebook)-they just don’t want that grey automatic avatar pic because the thinking is that you might be a bot or something if you keep the standard grey automatic pic. I hope that makes sense! If I can be of more help on that subject, I’ll sure try Edited to say: my avatar is Flower the skunk from Bambi, and I was accepted. There’s no way I would put up a picture of myself as an avatar, just for privacy and safety reasons.
