I love your suggestion of using the strong transfer tape to hold the blank on the mat. I am doing a bigger engraving tomorrow and will try that technique…. I was worried about it moving but think the transfer tape will be perfect

THANK YOU. I have learned alot from you from the day I decided to get a cricut,I've watched your videos. I engraved a bracelet, but font didn't show up very well.i tried everything to darken it,nothing worked. The paint you used,the red,would it have showed up more if wearing a glove rubbed IT INTO the metal? I have to do a memorial plaque for a friend who just passed.Glad now I have better fonts to choose from.keeping my fingers crossed. Thanks for Sharing. Greatly Appreciated.

You need to use one of these specific fonts. Any font that doesn't have lines inside will only be an outline as Cricut does not have a fill at this time.

Hi Angie. I can't find the Cricut font you listed as FF ARCHIAN BOOGIE WOOGIE. I find FF ARCHIAN PLASTIC. Cricut must have removed it. Also, couldn't locate ZRAGOZA font either, then I realized you misspelled it.

I did misspell that last one! The other may be because you have the kerned fonts only box checked.

I didn't let it dry entirely here. I wipe off excess before it dries. You can put as much or as little as you would like in there.

I was just given a Cricut Joy as a Christmas gift. Please, do you know why half the fonts dont do what they are supposed to? I typed "to your new home" .. and, it comes out gobbeldgook. When I select writing, it seems to outline the type, instead of the typeface being writing, and solid. Also, it seems to keep defaulting to Cut for the type faces, even as I keep trying to make it Pen. I also keep getting "Error unable to process payment information".

Attach your words together. Fonts will always be an outline. It always assumes you want to cut until you change to pen.

You probably get the ERROR because you are choosing fonts you need to be paid and you probably didn't add your credit card
