I had no idea I could buy a Keto specific food. My service dog is on a premade raw, my other boy is on Kirkland natures domain due to a bowel condition. I wonder how hed do on it.

Casey Dawson unfortunately since I don’t balance my own food I can’t really make a prep video other than thawing the mix and adding any additives I do that day! I can tell you for Ellie it costs about $50 a month to feed her fully raw. :)

Also, look into the vests please!!! Ive heard that they actually hurt joints and hips. I really wanted the vests as well, until I heard about that.

As long as your dog is healthy and on a proper diet you should be fine! I use a daily joint supplement as well as golden paste as a preventative measure for my girl :) (Edit: check with your vet if you’re worried as well! They’ll let you know if they think it’s a good idea for your dog :)

How much food is one serving??? Is it really 1 1/2 cup a day for a 60 pound dog? If you feed three times a day is it half a cup per meal??? Or is it 1 1/2?? I’m confused

I got mine heavily discounted (Black Friday and end of year sale) but normally I think they’re around $80-90. If you wait for a sale they go as low as $30-45 though!

Ahhhh!! I know you said it’s in your own back yard, and you probably don’t have a bunch of other dogs, - (besides Nova) -, in you backyard all the time, but it’s alarming me you said you don’t pick up her poop anymore because of the diet. It breaks down in a few days and there’s nothing there, which is definitely true! But here’s the part that worries me a little, her poop sheds way more pathogenic bacteria with a raw diet and that bacteria, lingers in the grass, soil, concrete, whatever, for a long period of time.

We don’t really use our backyard other than a dog toilet lol. We still pick up on walks and in the winter (or if we have people over) but generally if they go in the very back it’s out of where anyone goes. :)
