Funnnnnnnn!! It's interesting that makeup land tells us mauve is warm in tone, but the DEFINITION is a pale purple, aka most often cool! Color analysis calls mauve cool, and a mix of pink and purple.

Clionadh Weld is definitely something special. Despite not being sparkly, it is so insanely shiny! I haven’t worn it all spring/summer, but I look forward to bringing it out in the fall!

I find that I wear far more shiny/sparkly shades in the fall/winter in general! For me spring and summer are all about super simple (mostly bare or sheer) eyes and bright bold lips, then I have more fun with sparkle in the winter especially.

Luv an eyeshadow swatch party 🤩 I thought long and hard about this, and I would say my favorite eyeshadow is fairy fire by devinah cosmetics. It’s like one of those translucent shades that goes sort of invisible in certain lighting. Another favorite is Saturn from Moira, it’s a cream shadow and super sparkly.

wet pebble by half magic is so great! it's like... grippy too.. the texture is so smooth and shiny but it has a grip to it when you put it on the eye , it’s hard to explain but it’s one of my favorites!

I love the Urban Decay Moondust in Solstice. I own a bunch of indie sparkly eyeshadows and I was also surprised that UD really delivered!

Thanks for the great video! ❤. I used to hate everyone buying and showing their brown shadows. But not anymore. Now I’m tired of everyone’s love for Taupe. 😂That’s OK, everyone probably hates my love of purple as an everyday shadow. I wholeheartedly agree with you, I enjoy a good metallic as well now. Now that most palettes have Holo, it’s getting overwhelming.

Tom is igniting my heart and sparkling my interest. I love the Chantecaille packaging and the luxurious shimmer and sparkle. Rituel de Fille makes gorgeous grungy shades and so does Phytosurgence. Clionadh makes my favourite singles. I still fall in love with Sydney Grace every July. CT pots never seem to dry out. I love building my own palette with Lethal Cosmetics singles. IMHO the ND “Golden” palette is full of one and done shades. Try Clionadh “Carving” with Rhino or Pangolin. I like sprinkling more sparkle on my creams. I use highlighters or indie toppers.

It's so funny, clionadh opulent was one that I saw few people rave about over the years & I was intrigued but didn't purchase. When I finally did? Instantly fell in love. It has a sort of dusty mauve/purple base with a veritable rainbow of shifting sparkles yet is so wearable! One of my top picks from my entire collection & my absolute fav from clionadh! Also, it makes me happy to know you watch Amanda Z! I absolutely adore her/her content. She is such a breath of fresh air & has never steered me wrong.

Opulence looks lavender to me. I don't love it on myself, but I think it looks stunning on my partner, any time she wants me to do her makeup for a formal event, I always wanna put opulence on her 😂

​@@marias-i3333yeah I think lavender is totally the right description! I think the almost warm gold overtone of sparkle kinda messes with the eye & makes it seem like it's a different color. Like Tom said, it almost looks grey? I absolutely love it! I have a huge dip in it 😂
