Fish that lake couple times a month. Not far from me in Council Bluffs. Never caught anything over 3 pounds there. Some of them back channels are super deep lots of hiding spots. There's gotta be a slaunch or 2 in there somewhere

Any tips for my 2-day championship tourney here in Texas on Lake Tyler? We can find 2lb fish all day but have issues finding Slaunches. Water temp in mid 70s with lots of hay grass on banks.

we had a lake the size limit created over population. the bass ate up everything in the lake and became small.you could catch bass all day long maybe 12 inches at best. they no longer grew to the 18 to 20 inch slot. the cure was to keep fish below 12 or 13 inches. this shortened the population enough,and protected the big ones. you can catch 10 plus pound fish all day there now.
@alexbot097 жыл бұрын
Hopefully can keep that many fish this weekend. Hopefully they are those fish's grandparents though. 😂😂😂

youre using a flipping hook. And are you really flipping? It recently dawned on me....but aside from them being a bit more expensive....isnt a flipping hook perfect? you have a nice wide gap like an EWG, but its stout with a straight shank like a regular worm hook....sounds perfect! they even have the keeper! So should I just start buying flipping hooks...and maybe hope someone makes lighter wire flipping hooks?
