@@Hunter_i86 this thing carries more than twice the missiles a wiesel can carry man 😭 As for the Hellfire question, iirc it wasn't designed to be carried or integrated onto a jet and especially not a fast one. The main anti-armor fixed-wing from the US to support ground forces is the A-10, and the Maverick already does that job for it.The closest thing the US have gotten to make a missile of similar weight class as the Hellfire and intend to carry them on their jets is the cancelled AGM-169 JCM. They are now trying again with the AGM-179 JAGM, although I'm not sure if any other jets will carry it other than the F-35. Another NATO allies, however, have successfully fielded an ATGM to their jets similar to the Hellfire (and also the cancelled JCM) called the Brimstone from the UK. It was integrated into the Eurofighter and the Tornado GR4.

Very lucrative piece of kit, though the funny thing is I love CAS and when I try I sometimes eat missiles without being able to defend much- Hunter makes it look like he’s doing this in his sleep haha. Great video btw! love the frogfoots

Used this guy to great effect back during the Broken Arrow demo. in that game you could outfit it with Kh-31 on the innermost pylons and ECM pods on the outermost, so it was pretty good and staying over the battlefield for a long time

Hunter, please tell me at 7:57 when you locked that guy, how did you make that red square track this guy, I can't seem to make mine be able to track targets, that's the "sight stabilization button/activate target point", right? I'm using TV guided bombs and I want to CCRP bomb tanks, but if they're moving and i lock them, the red square stays in one position, which messes with the CCRP vertical line. Would love if you could help me :)

What is your plane? You must have a TGP, and also sight stab button to lock on the vehicle.

in DCS the mercury pod works as thermal imaging sight, but I heard it is not accurate in DCS, it should be a night vision device only.

I love the sm3, not because it has busted missiles, but because it's the only Russian aircraft to have thermals other than their helicopters. The su25T is weird for me because for some reasons the vikhrs don't hit the same for me anymore. They've gotten three big nerfs in the past couple years. 1. The overall changes to missiles agility (they can't be used as AA missiles as consistently and reliably) 2. They got the nerf where you can't fire them off continuously and be tracking to the laser designator like you can with the hellfires 3. They got a damage/post-pen nerf. I understand that the vikhrs fly directly to the target while the hellfires don't though, and that was one of their reasons for balancing it

Prioritize them, be the SEAD man for the team, kill them with Kh-29T fire and forget missiles or use the terrain and peek enemy SPAAs with laser guided missiles.

i have around 700 matches in a su25t, and i dont think that SAMs are the biggest threat. you can cancel them by flying close to the ground (so radiofuse doesnt trigger) or in case of heat-seeking missiles you can use preflaring. anti-air artillery (aa with guns) kill me WAY more often than other aa systems.

Is it worth to sacrifice the r73s for an extra 2 a2g ordinance and if im correct in real life the su25t could carry r73s on the r60m pylon and r77 and r27 and do you think the su25tm will be added any time soon?

You don't need extra air to ground ordnance on the outer pylons! You can carry 20 ATGM with R-73 attached LoL. TM is already added, it is the premium Su-39.

I wish people would leave me alone to do my air stuff I always have to contend with 4+ enemy SPAA players, CAP planes, and my own teammates lol. Also, I have no idea how these guys didn't try and counter you in a missile AA or a CAP plane idk i guess its just the team player in me. I play for the team to a fault and that has gotten me killed with nothing to show for it more times than I can count.

People heavily ignore SPAA and I heavily prioritize them, if this is not clear in this video I'm sure it is very noticeable in other videos in the channel. I don't count on teammates to kill SPAA for me, I'm the SEAD man always. This increases my survive rate and pilots in my team as well but doesn't always participate in victory, simply because killing SPAA will not help friendly tanks much on the ground.

@@Hunter_i86 I always shoot at the SPAA first unless I have a squad mate in trouble. Back when the F-5E was 10.7 it was super fun to SEAD/DEAD the medium range and manpad SPAA with mavericks. It was actually a balanced game of cat and mouse. I wish I had better luck in high tier but I always seem to catch the AA's attention first and it's a constant battle trying to get a different approach angle or just some way to minimize the engagement envelope on myself.

@@HEATSEEKR A lot of my footage get removed by me too so you are good don't worry, because it is either dying because outnumbered sometimes or surviving but spending the entire time notching\evading missiles with no results, and since battles are too short they end sometimes with no death in the sky but also no kills so it will not see YT. Try to spawn earlier with your jet I would say, like 3 mins max after battle start, do it with rushing cap zones or scouting as fast as possible, it makes a lot of difference because you will have the element of surprise from above and not much SPAA spawned yet. I play alone all the time too, so that might be a reason, because then I'm not committed to a "friend in real life" requests in the battle, however it is so much fun to play with friends, your channel is a proof, although I despise Air RB mode haha but that F-14 run was intense and awesome.
